We are Kugtar Mixed Martial Arts Academy is the premier martial arts academy in Monterey County, founded in 1995 by Master Vince Vanderlipe. Kugtar training is conducted five days a week with on-site instructors specializing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Tang Soo Do, Kickboxing, Mixed Martial Arts, and Muay Thai.
New students are welcome to join at any time. Both youth and adult classes are available. Several types of classes are offered to cater and fit into anyone’s lifestyle. We recommend you to come stop by, take a tour, observe, talk with an instructor, or join in a trial class to decide which classes may fit your goals and interest.
