2547 San Gabriel Blvd, RosemeadIt's a small family restaurant with a high-end menu. I am very picky about escargots, and La Vie gets it right. This one is a must order. The smoked trout was good, but not a must. The duck is served to perfection - crispy skin and tender meat. We also got scallops and prawns, which were delicious, but the duck was the winner. Entrees come with soup, salad, and coffee at the end of the meal. We couldn't resist the souffle, one of my faves.

Tonight I had the teriyaki plate and it was a lot of food. Well worth the money. Drive thru service was nice and quick. Can't really say anything about the inside, never been in but from outside it looks like a nice place to eat in. I think the food here is usually pretty good and plentiful. I'll come back for more.
