Pet Grooming
Dazzling pup
127 N San Gabriel Blvd, San GabrielWhen I discovered this dog grooming business, I never left. Jonathan is such a great groomer. He is so detailed and knowledgeable with the best interest of your dog. He is so quick to communicate. I appreciate the time and effort he puts into my fur baby (shown in the pictures below). I take 3 dogs of mine here and he never fails to disappoint every time. He always tries his best even when my dogs give him a hard time. His work is amazing and the prices are hard to beat. I cannot stress enough how great of a dog grooming place this is!!

Pet Care
Valley Veterinary Hospital
1007 E Valley Blvd, San GabrielI came here because my cat needed treatment and the staff were great. Hes been an out door cat/rescue and is about 3 years old. He was pretty stressed out being in a carrier and when we got in the exam room he was showing his displeasure. I was able to secure him and the assistant helped me cover him up. After the doctor came in and they were able to give him some meds. They handled him well and we went back home and he has since recovered.

Taco Point
251 W Valley Blvd, San GabrielQuick and fast taco stands. Now they support the credit card payment. Eric is welcoming and serves the neighborhood very well until the midnight. The protein of stewed pork and the al pastor is nice while I hope they could use corn tortillas instead of the flour ones.

ici Tea Drinks
301 W Valley Blvd #102, San GabrielICI is my favorite fruit tea place in SGV! Their persimmon slushy is my fav! Sadly, it is a seasonal drink. The worker said it should be coming back toward the yearend. Their coconut mango drink is also good and a must-try. 10/10 recommend.

Love at the Curb(爱在马路边)
301 W Valley Blvd Ste. #112, San GabrielIt’s SUPER delicious!!!!❤️I am originally from Chengdu, away from hometown for 3 years, this hotpot and Chuanchuan really makes me feel home! I heard from the lady boss that the chef is an old hotpot master in his eighties, it’s really authentic!I even brought the soup home for cooking?? There is no one else who packs hot pot base ingredients?Great service!Totally recommend!

Chun Yang Tea
San Gabriela nice, refreshing place to get your ice tea fix! chun yang is located in a small plaza with a parking lot. i came on a thursday afternoon and there weren't many spots available. there is street parking nearby if you can't get a spot in the plaza. i got the honey osmanthus oolong tea, their #1 popular drink. i appreciated the server, who was very knowledgeable about the drinks and their sweetness levels. i got my drink at 50% sweetness, and it was still super sweet, so 25% is probably best if you don't like your drink tasting like sugar syrup. the tea, however, was the best part since it was strong and refreshing! this is a small shop, so don't expect any tables to hang out in here. there is a bench to sit and wait for your order, but that's all for seating. there is a public restroom for customers. overall, great place for a refreshing and strong tea drink. the quality of the tea was great, and it is perfect for a hot day.

Ogopogo Brewing
864 Commercial Ave, San GabrielRegularly like to frequent breweries that have Hazy IPAs and let me tell you that their Kikokiko Hazy IIPA is fire! It's up there with the great Hazy IPA breweries such as HPB and Monkish. Took a 4 pack of Kikokiko home and will definitely be back.

With love,
819 W Las Tunas Dr, San GabrielFinally got the chance to try this dessert place after always passing by. I got the pure milk soft serve and 3 pieces of taiyaki in custard and red bean. The soft serve is a nice texture and it's very soft. The milk is a bit too sweet, in my opinion. And you can self serve on several toppings for the soft serve. The taiyaki is very good, just wish that it is a bit more crispy. They give a generous amount of filling inside the taiyaki. Inside is a small place. They only have a bench and a couple of stools. Overall, a great dessert place!

Dancing Spoons
413 S Mission Dr, San GabrielExcellent food! A wonderful family run restaurant. My whole family goes crazy for their crab Rangoon and shrimp and veggie tempura. The golden shrimp dumpling curry is also amazing. They just expanded the menu, very excited to try more dishes. Have never been disappointed, and very friendly staff and owners!Vegetarian options: Lots of dishes can be made with tofu

Fresh Roast
308 S San Gabriel Blvd, San GabrielSuch a relaxing, lived-in, homey Hong Kong coffee shop. The owner asked me about my coffee tastes, recommended a fruity Ethiopian medium roast pour over, talked about the tradeoffs of siphoned coffee, French press, etc, and recommended his freshly baked croissants as particularly good today. Soothing classical guitar music, endearing hand-written signs, and idiosyncrasies of the owners as decor are all such a stark and lovely contrast to the sterile and corporate coffee shops everywhere in LA. If you want something different than that, try Fresh Roast on San Gabriel.

Hibiscus Tree
534 Valley Blvd ste 4-5, San GabrielMy wife loves the Hibiscus Tree Combo #1 loaded with marinated beef, shrimp, beef tripe, crab stick, fish ball, spam, quail egg, bean curd, bean sprouts, enoki mushrooms, black fungus, winter melon. So much great stuff inside. We use DoorDash for food deliveries. But I've came by twice to pick up takeout. The parking lot is always full and hard to find parking so we prefer DoorDash and let them deal with the parking situation.

Patisserie Tony Wong
303 S Mission Dr, San GabrielMy aunt got these cakes for Christmas and I was obsessed with how cute they are! Don't be fooled by their appearance these cute dainty cakes taste just as intriguing as they look. My favorite was the hazelnut chocolate crunch and the coffee hazelnut macaroon tart! I really wanted to love the strawberry cheesecake but it wasn't any of our favs.

Quan Ngon Nha Trang Restaurant
311 E Valley Blvd UNIT 103, San GabrielThey've expanded out. Changed owners I heard at one point, but pretty good still!I do like that they put their to-go utensils in a plastic envelope. Feels more high-class, and easier to take out and use, without having to unbind rubber bands.Wish they were on GrubHub, but they're on other apps.

Love to Go • Coffee • Tea • Croffle • CottonCandy Cake • Party Favors
307 S Mission Dr, San GabrielWhat a wonderful surprise, with my name on the Nutella Latte. It is a rainy day in LA but this cafe in San Gabriel "Love to go" brighten up the day. Not only it looks good, both egg tart & the drink taste good as well. Actually, I come here today to buy their branded chilly sauce. A must have on almost all my meals after I tried it the first time.

Quantong Square
140 W Valley Blvd, San GabrielFor the longest time, I have never noticed the name of this shopping center until now as a Yelpie. This San Gabriel Square is on one huge corner block full of stores, restaurants, bakeries, snack bars, drink shops, and so much more. It's anchored mainly by 99 Ranch Supermarket and Five Star Seafood Restaurant. My family was at this square this past 2023 Christmas Day getting some Wushiland boba drinks. Wholly molly, the line was so very long out the door... I wouldn't be surprised if one day the line goes out to the parking lot LOL. Worth the wait though!!! Best roasted oolong milk tea with mini pearls in town!!!Anyway, this square is constantly crowded from morning till night. There are lots of outdoor and underground parking, but not enough I think. It's best to come here really early in the day or low peak evening hours. At the end of the day, just be patient... someone will leave and a parking spot will be available LOL!P.S. I will post photos later. I have to get them from my computer since they are no longer on my phone. Thanks for your patience.
