“So it's been about a month since I had my car serviced and I wanted to share my experience with everyone. After a road trip, I realized I had an oil leak after running over some tire shards on the highway. So I went on Yelp and found Tony's auto repair and I called him and received a quote of $200.Upon arrival, I didn't realize it's located on a corner so there's barely any parking and it's located on two very busy cross streets so be aware.Once I pulled into the shop, they raised my car and realized the repair wasn't as serious as we thought and it only came out to about $100. Within 25 minutes my oil leak was repaired and I was able to pay with zelle which was VERY convenient.If I ever have any other issues arise, I will definitely be back. You should definitely consider going to Tony's auto repair shop. Tony and his crew were friendly, professional and efficient.”

Johnny was always very honest about what I absolutely needed to fix ASAP and what could last a while longer before my next maintenance visit; there was a lot of work that my car needed because it was a hand me down. I wanted it to last and he worked with me to keep it running for as long as I could without burning a hole in my wallet. I also like that sometimes he would take the car for a drive around the block to make sure it's safe and everything sounds good before handing the keys back over. Almost a decade with this auto shop and the quality of service has never dwindled. I'll probably always come back here because I trust them”

“Honest mechanic. Been doing maintenance on my car for over 15 years. Never pressures me to do any work that is premature or unnecessary. For example, I need new brakes in the next 3-6 months, and an oil pan gasket due to some very minor leaks, but leaks nonetheless. The more pressing issue was a power steering leak that was obvious and was affecting my driving, so we prioritized that. He will let me know what is due or coming up so I can schedule the work with them or if it's simple I'll do it myself. I can usually get an appointment same day or next day and I always get a courtesy call for status or when it's done. Highly recommend if your warranty is up and you're looking for a competitive independent.”

“For the past 20+ years, I have own 3 cars plus all family members' cars have been serviced and repaired by this shop. The most important thing to us is the owner is honest and skillful one will not find elsewhere. We have never need to follow up on any repairs or have to go back for any repairs. The owner is the most honest guy that I have been highly recommended to co-workers and friends, who were all very satisfied with their value repairs in which make me and them go back to this shop over the years whenever needed. There might be time that the shop got very busy due to happy returning customers who rather dropped their car off with a trusted mechanic then go elsewhere which is more marketing tactic. Unless it is a quick oil change, I usually dropped off my cars, rather than rushing them since each car requires time to diagnose, some parts need to be ordered and wait for delivery then repaired.”

Other muffler shops told me I had to change the entire unit including a muffler, which was estimated around $1,000. Tony's told me $75 for welding, no need to replace any parts. “I was referred to C & L Auto Repair by a friend who knows the owner personally. This humble auto shop is owned by Cau, who is friendly, honest, and unassuming. Unfortunately, I know little to nothing about cars. However, after leaving my car with Cau, he called me soon with an update. It turns out that my car needed a new spark plug replacement. He walked me through what needed to be done, the prices for different OEM/generic options, and clearly explained everything. “I took my car in for a check-up because it was overheating. I dropped it off and waited for his phone call. He let me know that the thermostat needed to be replaced for $325. Yikes! My wallet took a hit, but it was reasonable, and absolutely necessary. I picked it up the next day. It was ready way before he said it would be done, which was a plus. He was really friendly, and the job was done. What more could I ask for? A job well done at a reasonable price. I'll be swinging by again next time my car decides to act up.
