“Someone told me about this place they have a variety of excellent meats. It's always fresh and comes in bundles if you choose. The prices are reasonable and they take (Cash, EBT,Debit) for your items to purchase. Soooo what are you ? waiting for? Come one, come all you won't be sorry for your selections you choose. “First time there! Got a lot of goodies packed in there. Fresh Sugar Cane all neatly packaged in a refrigerated section. The selection of Asian Drinks I was searching for in another fridge section :) Rooster Siracha at a better price than Ranch 99, and it might be the original stock too with is brighter red color.

“Rough neighborhood, but not too crazy. All that aside lol, the owner and clerks are kind and the energy seems pleasant. The store is well maintained and It’s a BOB✊? The sandwiches are bomb af. They also are a convenient store and accept EBT. I plan to stop by and get that tasty sandwich from the deli again whenever I visit the area again. Thanks! ?”

“The good grocery store around! Can't beat their prices anywhere, and the store always has plenty of helpful and friendly staff around to keep things moving smoothly. Despite not always having every exact thing I need, they do a great job of keeping stocked with a wide variety. They also have a lot of new things we get to try. It's a pretty good place for buying cool healthy sort of option in kombucha style drinks. But i'll never stop. So, ..Yeah great shop experience. They have things I never knew I would find in this store. It has really been improving over the years, they are now my main go to for shopping unless I need something very specific and I know they don't have it. They have 90% of the normal stuff and most of the top brands you'd want and good produce. Definitely not how it was when I was younger. Some of the caned goods might be a year or a few months from expiration so you still need to keep an eye on that and be aware. They stepped up their dairy and meat game a lot as well. They carry a lot of times including electronics and have a lot more variety now and you can get good deals on food. Overall I definitely recommend shopping. Parking spots were available. Store was clean and organized. Lots of room around the store and variety of product was surprising. Would recommend this store for everyone.”
“Amazing burger! We ordered the avocado burger, generous amount of avocado! Wings had a nice crunch and they're huge! Huge kids meal portions. Mozzarella sticks were ok. Prices were pretty decent. Wide selection of items, it was a bummer to find out their ice cream machines were broken.”

“Strive for the best!Not only their prices are cheaper than Foodmaxx,Safeway,Costco wtc;their fruits and vegetables are always cheaper than any other big corporate ideally meant to be sold for you and I low-moderate income people.Had I not have WIC cards,I would still go there for my grocery shopping and then once I dont find anything that I dint find here I would then go to other locations for groceries. Also, the staff are very friendly.”
“Came here like 5yrs ago, when I first moved to Richmond, was not good imo. This morning was looking for new spots to try chicharrón and they came up. My hubs said let’s try it again, people say their carnitas are good….. so happy we did, the food was so good. The smell of fresh food hits you before you walk in. The meat wasn’t dry or over cooked. Their horchata was good too, we actually got a mix of a few things even one of their chile rellenos, i will say it’s def a spot to try….. one thing I will say their tortillas were made on the spot but were a bit bland for me”

“Workers from the market, taqueria and butcher side are always very kind and helpful. Meat is always fresh and they cut your meat however you want it. ?? Just in case you're familiar with La Raza Market on 22nd, the owners from there are the same for La Fortuna Market (they're just expanding a little) . I've been to many other meat markets and trust me when I say, quality and quantity can't be compared to La Fortuna and La Raza.”

“This is my ace in the whole. It's one of the last meat in the area actually owned by a Latin family. It's not like the other markets around owned by other culture's and just hiring Latin butchers. They try there best to compete with another market that just opened up across the street from them. But I continue coming here because of the homies feeling I get when I come here compared to others. Yes the isles are tight but they have everything you're probably looking for.”
