“Very rarely we come across car mechanics with a good blend of empathy, knowledge delivery and business acumen. I am new to California and the following are my experiences:
1. Have done full synthetic oil change. Best and quick service. Most decent cost in the East Bay. No gimmicks.
2. Had an issue with braking, he explained in details as to what happened. He showed how the tires have bumps and how the brake pads have met the metal rotors which is causing this issue. Quoted and delivered the best price possible.
3. Battery died and he showed up with jump starter and advised thoroughly on how to change battery by myself. He didn’t charge and politely said, emergencies do happen.”

“I spent some time shopping around for a new car, and it was frustrating dealing with subpar sales reps who seemed more like poorly trained SDRs than car experts. With a small garage, I often asked about the car's dimensions, only to be met with blank stares as they fumbled with their phones to Google the information. Some didn’t even know how to fold the seats properly.
Hilltop Ford was a refreshing change. When I called, Terrence answered and casually asked when I could come in instead of pressing for my email and number to bombard me with sales emails. Terrence was knowledgeable about the cars and their value, and most importantly, he understood what I was looking for in a vehicle without trying to oversell me.
I also had a great conversation with the finance manager, who took the time to discuss the economics of the deal and treated me with respect. The used car manager was fair and genuinely listened to my reasoning for the trade-in price I was aiming for.
Overall, the experience couldn’t have been better, and I’m likely to buy my next car here.”

“After being told my muffler shield hanging down, I went too MCR Muffler in Richmond. After looking at it, Jose told be I must of hit something(?), that it was ripped from it's bolt and hanging down! He said he can cut the ripped piece off, and bolt it back too the frame, quick fix. He charged me a fraction of the cost! Very honest and very reasonable. I would most definitely recommend this place too friend's and public Thank You Jose”
