My truck needed two door handles replaced; I came in with the replacements parts and Surat and Alberto replaced both handles in less than an hour, for a reasonable price. I also got advice/guidance about insurance claims for future repair work which I will definitley take to Claymore to fix. Highly professional and personable owner/employee/business!”

“My car started making some funny sounds and I found this auto service here on yelp. I decided to ask them for help based on others positive reviews and was so grateful that I did. John was willing to listen to what I had done to try and solve the problem without any judgement. He took a look at my car and was very honest about what needed to be done. He communicated clearly what I needed to do and how he could help. I hope to not return too soon, but am glad to have found an honest mechanic where I feel comfortable, taken care of and not taken advantage of just for being a women with a car problem. Highly suggest to anyone having any car problems!”

“Great family owned business, because they will spend time with you helping select tires. Their prices are reasonable for tires and repairs. They sometimes have new young hired help, so make sure to communicate exactly what you want. When having all four tires changed out, one of my black rims got scratched from the tire changing machine. I didn't notice it until I got home.”

“We recently moved to El Cerrito, and the squeaky suspension of my old X5 has been bothering me for a while. I was looking for a new mechanic. Reading the Yelp reviews, I decided to take my SUV to Foreign Auto. Leo suspected that the replacement of a part might stop the squeaks. It's hard to trust any new service, but when we came back to pick it up, he immediately showed us the old part and explained what he replaced, which showed us honesty.Based on an educated guess, sometimes, even a pro has to try one thing to eliminate the problem. Sure enough replacing the right part stopped the noise. Thank you Leo!”

“I went to midas to het some work corrected from another place called Berkeley Auto service. The new owner is a horrible crook. He was so shady I did not want to bring it back to him to correct the work he did. I called a couple of places but when I called Midas in El Cerrito "Paul" made me feel very comfortable. He has great customer service skills off the top so I gave him a chance. He fixed my tie rod issue, he put 4 new tires, wheel alignment and oil change. He had it back to me same day. I was really happy with that because we need the vehicle daily. I was also happy with the work done. There was only one thing. It slightly would go to the right. I called Paul back and he told me to bring it back and he would take care of it. I took it in and in hours I had it back. The steering is perfect. Je was hassle free and took good care of me. I feel confident with the service and I would recommemd going to this location for auto service. I tried to give Berkeley Aito a chance because I use to go there. The bussiness is under new ownership and I wont be going there again. Midas El Cerrito gave me a great experience. Thanks again "Paul" for the excellent service and experience”
