Hours: The Target Distribution Center is located at 2702 Summit Ave in Rialto, California. The location is very out of the way. For truck drivers, the entrance is through the back exit freeway off Alder, heading North towards Robertson Ready Mix. Drivers turn right on Lake Padden, follow it around Robertson until it turns into Summit, where the facility is on the right. The wait time can be long, from 4 to 8 hours, so drivers are advised to eat before arriving or bring lunch and water. There is a waiting area by the water towers, and a gate pass might be available to leave briefly. Check in and out at the guard shack is easy. A yard slot is assigned for dropping the trailer. Drivers then go through the shipping and receiving door to use a vacuum tube system, following instructions to send up their information. They are called when ready, and paperwork is sent back down after providing the trailer number. Drivers are not allowed out of their truck on premises except for checking in or leaving.
