Afterwards he gave me a complete walkthrough of all the potential issues as we looked at the underside of the car. Which included some badly repaired front and rear bumper damage from a potential accident not reported on the Carfax. Because of this and his other recommendations, I ultimately decided to return the vehicle. Thanks for saving me from a pretty expensive mistake.”

“To my fellow women, I share this find for you! I moved here to LA and the thing I hate the most is having car troubles. Previously, I went to an auto repair next to an O'Reilly's shop in Sylmar and was ripped off. I asked an LA native where he takes his car, he shared with me that he has been going to Henry for 20 years....a word of mouth mechanic...a guarded secret. "Whatever is going on with your car, Henry will find it and fix it at the fairest price in this city..shop around and you'll see.." I entrusted Henry with my Nissan that had begun shaking and the check engine light soon appeared. It had felt funny for awhile before the check engine, but every other mechanic couldn't figure it out. I went to three before the check engine light came on. I entrusted my car to Henry who gave me a smile and a firm handshake. He read the reader and told me it was the transmission and that such a job needed days to repair, but he called me up and said, it's not your transmission! The previous shop at Sylmar had forgotten to reset my engine light. He said my transmission was very good. It was a cheaper waaayy cheaper fix. It was that my engine was held by bad engine mounts. After he fixed that, he also installed new brakes. When I picked it up, Henry greeted me and said, your car should run like new! And it has!!! She drives Smooth!! Now I'm confidently driving to Vegas today!! I found my mechanic! Henry is a gem! I'm like his third review on here but his clientele are old school-20 years of trust. He's been a thing before Yelp! I'm spilling the beans to all my female friends!”

“GO HERE! This place has such welcoming auntie/uncle vibes. I dropped in at 5:10 pm on a Tuesday. I asked what time they closed and they said they close at 5:30pm. And still took me in for a quick smog! Whole interaction was under 30mins. Thuen noticed my transmission oil lid was missing. He just suggested I replace it as soon as possible so nothing falls into the little tank. Where that would be a huge problem. He looked for it, when he didn't need to and found it! He showed it to me and it look like it'd been for years. He cleaned it and came out looking brand spankin new. So grateful for that! Then Vanna, thisssssss queeeeeeeeen. When I pulled up I saw her in heels, latex gloves, crouched down under a car helping Thuen like the little baddie that she is. I was instantly in love w/her. Vanna and Thuan are people you want to give business to. They're knowledgeable, welcoming and go that extra mile to make sure you feel well taken care of. You and your car deserve service from this amazing place. I did drive in lost as heck. Usually do my homework. It's the first spot to the left entering the lot.”
