Worst bank EVER!!! I have never gone into this bank and thought wow these people really care about me as a customer. Every single person I've ever met that works here is at least stunted don't bank here.

Horrible customer service. Even if you have you card stolen goodluck getting it to report they don’t even have a stolen card report online or in phone call. It’ll just hang up on you. have to go in person lol

I asked about a car loan over the phone. Operator confirmed that I need to provide SSN, proof of income and proof of identity (passport in my case). Upon arrival to the office, I had a talk with a loan officer for 20 seconds. He asked for a California driver's license, and when I said he only had an international driver's license (issued by another country), he simply said he couldn't approve a car loan. I asked why the person on the phone had not given me this requirement. He said "have a nice day" and fell silent.Very bad customer experience. I just spent money for a taxi and get the information that can be provided over the phone in other places. Please take care that you have all information before visiting the office.

Went into this bank to do two transactions that took some time as they were wire transfers from different accounts and Emily and her manager Lexi were extremely helpful and made my transaction simple and easy. This bank unlike others have helpful staff and enough associates working to take care of their clients. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. Service is definitely A+++

At time's where what one works hard for means the money earned and every dollar counts.. when a ATM malfunction occurred, Jovanhy came thru.. while I understand the recovery process doesn't happen over night, Jovahny made sure to keep me updated daily with the efforts to fix the problem.. And a couple days later called me with the solution and problem fixed. Outstanding customer service! Two thumbs up!

I went in today(8/17) and was attended by a gentlemen. He was not the most welcoming. He was in the rush and wasn’t helpful at all. It was hard to hear him and when I would ask if he could please repeat himself, he would show frustration on his face. I asked him to please withdraw money from my government card, he did but then he asked me to fill out a section on the form. I know for a fact that they are suppose to fill it like the other San Mateo Credit Union banks I’ve visited. It was a bit confused on what was I suppose to do. I was disappointed and I won’t be going to this Redwood City Branch.

Again, customer service FAILS... The new system screwed up and the error basically emptied my accounts. I call and the best they can do is talk among themselves with no solution; the supervisor told the phone agent to "tell him to leave a voicemail" after speaking with that agent directly.. After 14+ years and a buttload of money passed through here; this is how we're treated..

Worst funds availability I've ever seen. You should only bank here if you don't want your money. When I called to complain they said they'd fix things. They didn't, so you can't trust them either. Not acceptable for a financial institution.

This branch is the worst Bad customer service. The employees have little to no knowledge. They have no control with the line, they talk to much about personal issues and not about banking and they hold up the lines, from the bank manager to the clerks.

Had a couple of loans with SMCU. I'm dumping them now because of multiple accounting errors, customer service is practically non-existent and they charged a late fee when they admittedly lost my electronic payment from my other bank.

They are not very professional; the service is terrible! Who is hiring these people?
