“I went to top canvas on a Wednesday not expecting to find any Sonny angels because they’re so hard to find nowadays. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by an associate named Angel and he was super helpful! The moment he knew I was looking for Sonny angels, he showed me everything they had! I ended up taking two Sonny angels and a collectors Sonny Angel which was cool! He was super dope and just made the whole Sonny Angel experience better! Customer service was 10/10 and I’ll be back for more Sonny angels lol :))”

“Absolutely LOVE this place. My friend and I took a trip out to Torrance to relive our inner 80s kids and we loved every second of it. 80s/90s nostalgia in well organized glass cases with lots of unopened merch, hard to find and rare items. There was also inventory sitting off to the side waiting to be put on display. Toys of the universe indeed... and everything in between. The owner is so knowledgeable and personable; we really enjoyed talking to him. He gave us some "ah ha" info about select items that made it feel like we were in a museum (if you're a true nerd, you know that random facts are like power-ups *insert sound effects here*). We bought a Gameboy at his other location with 2 games. They were willing to make a fair deal and allowed us to test it in the store. This was my first time ever (yes, ever) playing a Gameboy and my heart melted a little bit :)There were many times I spotted an item that took me back to the good ol' days and I had to keep my tears in check. I must have said "I remember this!" over 30 times. We got a few things and are already planning another trip. The prices are reasonable and they also buy items which they can give store credit or cash. Def support small biz by checking out this unique gem. I wish they had places like this out by me in Ventura. Until then, we will keep going back for our nostalgia fix.”

“This is a nice store and just enjoyable to hang out. Sits right on Rosecrans - safe environment, and great selection of books, of course! As far as books go they are well stocked with easy to find labeled sections. They have a vast variety and a wide range of authors, all genres and beautifully set up with a nice array of displays showcased throughout. The store is well organized, well-lit, clean, and spacious. Also, there are a variety of seating areas. Super friendly and knowledgable staff - always helpful and kind! Everyone is caring and insightful and gives impressive recommendations based on your tastes or goals. Kudos to the staff for professional, knowledgeable and friendly customer service. They also make ordering books easy. You can get anything you need and pretty fast. A nice browsing atmosphere with other book lovers. Parking is not a problem at all - as it is nestled in a shopping mall situated between Trader Joe's and Old Navy. This place is a 10/10!!!”

They have EVERY pop animation merch from around the world, starting with an awesome Funko Pop collection. Every inch of the store is covered in American & Japanese paraphernalia. “New to the warhammer hobby walked in not knowing alot about the hobby but liked the idea of painting the minatures walked in 1 hour before closing David was more than helpful, patient, and passionate about WH40K and painting showed me around the shop and the rules of the game he's very inviting when it comes to new customers I think I found a hidden gem of a hobby shop thank you David for helping me pick a great starter set for me and my girlfriend”

“This is truly a kids dream store for realistic and detailed toys. My son (and I) really enjoy the weight, feel, realism, and durability of most of the Bruder toys. The staff was friendly and helpful- there were some discounts available for in store purchases not found online. Can't recommend this brand of toys enough! Thank you for the great service and toys!”

“The workers are so nice! When I went there I was there to get a smiski or sonny angel and I found out they had some left. The girl who helped me out was extremely kind. So I told her choose which box I should get. She asked me which one I wanted and she started shaking the boxes like how I would do it and guessing which one was inside. After I left the store came back minutes after and opened the box with her. AND TO MY SURPRISE IT WAS THE ONE I WANTED!! I WAS SO HAPPY WE NEED MORE PEOPLE LIKE THIS!”

“Kaitlyn (not sure how she spells her name) was absolutely fantastic. I had a large balloon order (9 red and 4) and she happily did it for me, with a smile! Even though I bogged her down with this order, she was still attentive to the other customers and greeted everyone. I was shocked find out she was new!
