“It was a bit crowded the day we went but had a fun atmosphere. Many sales people approached us to help and were very kind. My kids liked looking at the different bears available; however there were some that were either sold out or only online exclusives we couldn't see in person. Overall it's a fun experience and we'll go back when the kids are ready to pick out a stuffy they really want.”

Over the years I've shopped for children and maternity items, while also donating my children's things as they outgrow them and selling gently used furniture to the store for resell. I love supporting local, small businesses whenever I can and this store is one of my favorites.”

“Excellent toy store with extremely helpful owner. He happily showed me which section of the store had suitable toys for a range of ages and personally gift wrapped each toy. He made a small mistake with one child's name, which I didn't mind, but insisted on rewrapping the gift and correcting the spelling - what a legend! The children absolutely loved their gifts. I'd 100% recommend this toy store and will be paying a second visit when I next return to LA. Thank you!”

“My bf and I visited the mall this afternoon after not coming here in about 2 years. Lots of new shops or ones we didn't get to see last time because they closed early or something. We dropped by this shop today and what a fantastic experience!The man who worked there today really sold us on buying some more blind boxes. It's our addiction and the prices here are wonderful. Crazy good prices AND the young lady cashier even told us they do trades! Anything in their display case was up for trading in case you didn't get the one you wanted in your blind box. They specifically had one of the Digimon ones we didn't have yet and I pulled one that I didn't want so I ended up trading for it! Great shop and wish more shops did a trade system like this. Will definitely be coming here first before all other shops, whenever we visit. IG: @ammysalamii”

“WOW, great customer service! Fast, friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. In this world of negativity and distractions, it is such a nice break from the norm to get actual "customer service". My expectations were exceeded in both circumstances. Fast reply to an email, and above average help during a follow-up phone call. Kristin was a great help and shared her caring expertise while answering my questions and concerns. I will recommend Electric Dreams to anyone, and everyone interested in slot cars. “Absolutely LOVE this place. My friend and I took a trip out to Torrance to relive our inner 80s kids and we loved every second of it. 80s/90s nostalgia in well organized glass cases with lots of unopened merch, hard to find and rare items. There was also inventory sitting off to the side waiting to be put on display. Toys of the universe indeed... and everything in between. The owner is so knowledgeable and personable; we really enjoyed talking to him. He gave us some "ah ha" info about select items that made it feel like we were in a museum (if you're a true nerd, you know that random facts are like power-ups *insert sound effects here*). We bought a Gameboy at his other location with 2 games. They were willing to make a fair deal and allowed us to test it in the store. This was my first time ever (yes, ever) playing a Gameboy and my heart melted a little bit :)There were many times I spotted an item that took me back to the good ol' days and I had to keep my tears in check. I must have said "I remember this!" over 30 times. We got a few things and are already planning another trip. The prices are reasonable and they also buy items which they can give store credit or cash. Def support small biz by checking out this unique gem. I wish they had places like this out by me in Ventura. Until then, we will keep going back for our nostalgia fix.”

“I've been shopping at Puzzle Zoo for many years. When I worked on the Promenade I shopped that location. Now, because it's close to where I live, I shop at the Main St. location. It's a small space but I've always been able to find something for gifts. The service is great, always, no matter who is working. Someone said that the owner is "an Asian lady". Weird, and not true. Thanks for many years of toys and puzzles!”

They have EVERY pop animation merch from around the world, starting with an awesome Funko Pop collection. Every inch of the store is covered in American & Japanese paraphernalia. Even though I bogged her down with this order, she was still attentive to the other customers and greeted everyone. I was shocked find out she was new! “I believe most, if not, all locations are self service which is good and an easy check out process. I had never been to this location and was in the area so I decided to check it out. I'm sure glad I did. I was able to find a lot of items that I was looking for at other locations. The value is obviously good... some items were more than $5 but still a good deal. If you did need any help, there was an employee ready to help. The only bad thing about coming here is parking... very busy since there's also a Trader Joe's next door and a Starbucks, among other businesses. But if you get lucky, good for you! My patience tends to run low at times but I didn't have to drive around too long to find a spot.”
