They ended up taking some off my total thay day due to some difficulties that led to my appointment starting a little later then scheduled which was more then accommodating and kind of them. “I've been here several times over the years -- I started out with little, easy things - a broken clasp here, a missing link there, etc. Each time I stopped by I was encouraged -- both by Mario's capabilities and by his and Sandy's overall demeanor. Bolstered by how smoothly the easy fixes had been, I came to them with more complicated (read: important to me) jobs to do - remove links from an heirloom tennis bracelet to create two pairs of diamond studs, transform a vintage pair of screw on art deco earrings into two pendants and things like this. Mario handled all of these with skill and aplomb and I was delighted to have found a legitimately capable jeweler in South Redondo! My most recent job for him was the most challenging and creative yet. I had an idea to turn one of my grandfather's monogram cufflinks into a signet ring (we have the same initials). I went in to Aprile, discussed my plan with Mario, we brainstormed for a bit, he sketched out a few things, we honed the design and before I knew it, he was texting me real time shots of the creative process. It was finished within 2 weeks and it's GORGEOUS. I'm thrilled with my one-of-a-kind piece and with the artistry Mario displays. So happy that I noticed their little store front way back when and that I took that initial step with them! I'm a fan and customer for the duration!”
“stopped by this establishment last week when looking for some last minute hair gel. i was surprised to see a black owned black hair care place around here. i am absolutely taken with this store & i will be back. the owner and her daughter are super kind. i ended up buying one of their authentic African dresses for a mother's day gift that she loved. affordable & fair pricing. looking forward to coming back and getting some bonnets”

“This is a very fine , non-profit store. The staff is mostly volunteers and are extremely helpful. Most of the merchandise is hand-made...The vibe is very positive in this store. There is something for everyone...I bring friends here every chance I get. If you are in the Riveria Village, it's a must stop.”
“The port is really pretty. They have people driving bicycles that can give you a ride. It has shops right off the boat within walking distance of the cruise ship. The shops are spotless. Somewhat reasonably inexpensive. Very helpful people. Plenty of restaurants. Carnival cruises are the owners of this port. People are really nice. I really enjoyed the visit.”
“The links in my wife's diamond bracelet had worn through and were broken in several places. She had tried unsuccessfully to have it repaired for over 12 months. This was because it was a quite complex job. Large retail jewelers were not interested either they did not possess the skills or sought inflated prices to do so. Gary came to the rescue. He completely rebuilt the bracelet. His skill and craftsmanship is outstanding and the bracelet is literally "better than new". His service and attentiveness is outstanding and his price was extremely reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend him for any job large or small. Peter B”

“I went in for a clasp repair on a necklace and Bridget was very helpful from the get-go. She did her best to be accommodating for time, but unfortunately I was only visiting for a short while and was unable to get my necklace repaired there. I’m certain they would have done a wonderful job, and they have the necessary equipment on-site. I went to Michigan a few days later and today I went into a jewelry store where I was quoted twice the price that I was given at Finley’s! I was pretty shocked that there could be such a disparity. When I asked at the Michigan store I visited if they would return the original clasp (18k white gold) they said ‘oh, I guess if you want it back we’ll do that.’ ~ surprising considering that it’s quite literally worth its weight in gold! Moral of the story - go to Finley’s and have a pleasant experience with qualified jewellers. ??”

“I ordered a watch from them through Amazon. After that I saw these google reviews I was pretty freaked out thinking maybe I was scammed ( their price was about 100 lower then most retail stores ). They shipped my watch the next day, using 2 day and I promptly received the watch. It arrived brand new and in perfect working order. I really don't see what all these reviewers are talking about. The only thing I would note is this is a "Grey Market" seller and the watch manufacture will likely not honor any warranty. That said, you save a bunch of money upfront. I'm happy with my purchase and what was received.”
