“Stopped by and was enchanted by out rack for fifty cents. I did get some crafting supplies for a good price. Like most thrift stores these days, the regular price clothing is way too high. I'll stop by again next time I'm in Redding.”

“Shasta Land Trust is a very important Land Management trust. It is very impressive to see the beautiful lands they protect and conserve for the future. We went to the Wildways Kickoff Event yesterday. It was a wonderful atmosphere, with a tri-tip dinner, private auction, fun games, live music, and more. Great people doing great things . I would recommend checking out all the Events scheduled for this year.”

“I cannot say enough about this organization. I needed an outfit altered and I felt fortunate that Abi was available as my seamstress. She did a fabulous job - right on target balancing length of each piece giving me a proper fit. Please support this local non-profit. ?”

“My husband and I both agree that this is the best YMCA anywhere! The staff, facilities, hours, and class offerings are unmatched. On top of that, the Shasta Family YMCA is building community through its extracurricular activities to engage folks. The Family in the Y's name is no mistake! We have met the most amazing people here, and enjoy socializing, in addition to working out, with them. If you're looking for a workout place, don't look any longer. Join the Shasta Family YMCA; you won't regret it.”

“Came to Redding for the week, attended many show and shines, shopped and ate locally. Had a really good time. As always, enjoyed the Cruise on Friday night.Only complaint after a 2 year hiatus was the lack of parking assistance on Saturday morning at the big car show, there was none that we saw.”

“We stopped here on a long drive up to the PNW and stayed overnight. The location was a bit farther off the I-5 than I expected, but it was fair. Parking lot was big and we had no issue finding a spot for our van and U-Haul trailer. A security guy driving around in a cart spotted us and drove us to the front entrance. Check-in was fine, and we were given our two queen room number. I'm surprised at the $250 deposit - really seemed overkill for a place like this, but whatever. The room itself was great. Beds comfy, wifi worked great, TV was good with lots of channels, nice desk, fridge, bathroom was clean and everything worked fine, etc. I was very pleased with the room. We headed out to to the cafe (the restaurant is closed for renovations, it appears) and ordered a burger and a veggie pizza. Tasted great (better than I expected, honestly). Weird that you couldn't charge to the room, but no biggie. Had a great night sleep, shower, etc. In the morning, we delayed our departure by 20 minutes to catch the cafe again at 6am, and our breakfast burritos were (again) really good. Have to say that the cafe exceeded my expectations for such a small place and limited menu. Next time we'll have to try the restaurant out. Cute little gift shop with various items for sale. We did not gamble (no time, and we were tired), but I did like that they had a no smoking section. It was almost completely empty, but nice nonetheless. The main gambling area was fairly smokey, but I guess you kind of expect it in casinos. We checked out, headed north, all done. I would definitely stay here again. I hope this might offset some of the other reviews, but from our family's perspective, this was a great visit with zero issues or complaints. We will be back.”

“Wonderful people helping those in need. All have smiles and a happy upbeat attitudes. There is a waiting list but its worth the wait. Good food and you can choose choices when available. They have made the difference in being able to have a healthy meal every day and I won't take anything I don't need or can't use. Thank you to all at L&F!!”
