So few people know about Disability Action Center and the great work they do helping people with disabilities navigate complex systems to get services. They're knowledgeable, dedicated and provide a vital service to people with physical, intellectual disabilities and people with mental illnesses. They help people help themselves.

I'm a caretaker who stumbled upon this website a few weeks ago. The Disability Action Center in Redding provided much needed grab bars for my client & a badly needed shower chair for my friend. We are very thankful! Both were, also, called shortly after to make sure that all was well. You are amazing people!!! Thank you!

Disability Action Center is a nonprofit Independent Living Center for citizens with disabilities. It has offices in Chico and Redding. DAC offers Assistive Technology like walkers, wheelchairs and power chairs free of charge, senior vision services, Traumatic Brain Injury support groups, rental housing strategies and advocacy.
