“I like a lot of things about this supermarket.Most of the staff are nice. I like the Murray's cheese dept (now owned by Kroger?) Good parking situation. It's great to have this supermarket oasis on the peninsula.The loss of one star is that they sell The Epoch Times. That's not a fair newspaper and should not be sold next to the Los Angeles Times. While Conservatives and Liberals should all be less antagonistic towards each other and be free to think what they want... having this newspaper in the store is like selling MAGA hats at the check stands. Feel free to wear a MAGA hat but if you push them on me while shopping, I will shop elsewhere. And if I continue to see the Epoch Times being sold alongside real newspapers, I will shop elsewhere. At least with MAGA hats, you know what the deal is. But the Epoch Times is a little more insidious because it's disguised as real journalism.nbcnews.com/news/us-news…”

“I was at this place trying to find a walking cane because of the long time injury on my left knee! I could hardly walk because it is so painful. Janet was the person that helped me. She was very courteous, patient, knowledgeable, and professional. She basically asked me some questions and tried to find out why I need a walking cane? She showed me quite a few canes but I didn't like them because I worried about if I tripped the bottom of the cane; that might just be worse. She suggested that I need to treat the pain in my knee and showed me a few knee sleeves. She even tried to put one on for me and asked me to walk a few steps and see how I felt. I was surprised that it made my leg felt more stable and could walk a little better. It's less painful by wearing that knee sleeve. Thank you so much, Janet! I appreciate it very much. I will wear it until I can find a good orthopedic surgeon to operate on my torn knee!”

“This pharmacy is locally owned. The store is clean an inviting. Uyen and Maria, and the rest of staff are friendly and helpful. Although the pharmacy is smaller than the major pharmacies (CVS, WALGREENS), Southwood Pharmacy is efficient. They are very experienced and on top of your medical needs. Uyen is awesome. She not only makes you feel welcome, she is accurate, organized, and listens to your needs. I see her as a good friend. I would highly recommend Southwest Pharmacy.”

“We tried a mail prescription service and chain pharmacies and no one comes close to Carson Pharmacy. As a caregiver to a parent, this has taken one huge load off of my shoulders. Personalized care that's almost unheard of in most businesses today. Everyone is very friendly, helpful, no lost faxed prescriptions, new refills done quickly, free delivery when I can't make it in for a pickup. A very special thank you to Mary. “I was born in the South bay frequenting our lovely beaches and never knew this place was here but I am certainly glad I found out. I highly recommend Pill Box for Human and pet meds! I was getting my prescriptions at Rite aid and was happy for years until last week when I decided I needed a change. This desire prompted a cascade of disasters and repeated transfers of scripts involving Pavilions in Rolling Hills and the worst/most incompetent/rude Pharmacy EVER Alberston's on 25th in San Pedro and finally to Pill Box. No one seemed to have my common meds and no one was admitting the truth that they did not have them and were back ordered. I was running out and needed a refill. I was told they were ready and driving all over town in the worst rainstorm in Cali hx trying to get them and on arrival found they were not filled but other scripts I never needed or asked for were filled. What's with that? In desperation, I called Pavilions again and asked for clarity on the stocking situation and who they thought had the meds and they recommended Pill box. Thanks Pavilions-good job. I had them transfer the meds to Pill box and they were ready that day plus there were several phone conversations to get it all right. Which I actually liked as the store apps on both Rite aid and Albertsons/Vons are poorly done, error prone, and confusing. The customer service at pill box was impeccable AND they knew their stuff. At Pill box: I spoke to a human that assured me they where ready. I spoke to a human that ran my insurance over the phone rather than a stupid website or app that won't take it or makes me put it in 50 times. I spoke to a human rather than get inaccurate texts saying meds were filled when they were not. It was cool. Pill box is easy to find one block off of PCH on a corner across from a Bev Mo. Easy parking in back and on the streets right in front. Tons of other shops in the area so you can fit a visit in with your regular routine. Rather than trust your family's health to giant chain where so much can go wrong trust these guys. Looks like they focus on one thing and they do it right. I am especially excited to learn they do pet medicine too. It is worth the drive to me.”

“Lately, I was having to go to multiple pharmacies to get my medication's. After going for more than a week without my medication, three different local pharmacies in San Pedro did not have the medication in stock there's a national shortage this pharmacy has been able to not only fill my prescriptions, but also has great customer service and knowledgeable pharmacists, who have explained meds and even asked me about possible different interactions. I have one medication that I'm taking temporarily, where you cannot eat certain things it will have a bad reaction. I was so happy she told me to wait a day because I had actually eaten some of the foods that cause stomach upset with that medication five star customer service and five stars for having items in stock. It says compounding I think they make medication there. They also do many other services that are listed when you enter the property, it's located inside a medical building parking is super convenient. It's worth the drive to get all my medication at one place instead of driving to multiple pharmacies also, they have some very cool hospital. Type gift shop stuff. I bought a cute Kitty cat that looks like the one we have at home.”

“Just wanted to say that dealing with Golden Cove has been extremely satisfactory from day 1. I live in north Orange County and was a previous customer of a local pharmacy who went out of business. Their business somehow ended up with Golden Cove. I was skeptical with them being so far away, but from ordering to delivery, their service is swift. I have never had one problem with them. At 60+years old, I can say they know how customer service should be. A++++”
