Bhappypets
101 E Foothill Blvd #20, PomonaI can't say enough good things about Bertha and her team at Bhappy Pets! I bring my Golden Doodle, Bruno, here regularly, and the service is always exceptional. Bruno can sometimes come in a little matted, but Bertha handles it with such care and expertise. She's incredibly friendly, approachable, and even speaks Spanish, which makes communication easy and comfortable. The rest of the team is just as nice, always ensuring that Bruno is well taken care of. Bhappy Pets truly provides top-notch grooming services, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with Bruno's care!

Wish You Were Here Coffee Roasters
101 E 3rd St, PomonaThis is my go to spot anytime I am in the downtown Pomona area. Trendy cafe with art deco. Daytime parking is free for two hours. This is a self seating establishment with couches, tables and bar seating. All orders are placed at front counter. They have a variety of specialty coffees Or cocktails. Menu is a combination of American and Spanish influence dishes. Some items are only served on weekends vs week days for example the eggs Benedict served over carnitas. All staff are extremely friendly and helpful when it comes to recommendations of menu items. I ordered the poached eggs over avocado toast and mixed green salad and was not disappointed poached eggs cooked perfectly. The vanilla sage latte is a must try.

Yume House Pho
200 E 1st St, PomonaCame here for dinner with a friend and ordered the regular size pho and she ordered the filet mignon pho. The pho tasted standard good and regular size was small for me so next time I would recommend the large. Price is decent for the area but if you pay in cash it's cheaper. We also ordered an order of spring rolls which came with two rolls-on the thin side. Limited seating inside and outside. Parking is right outside free 2 hrs. Remember to check in and get free honey milk tea. Overall come support your local mom and pop restaurants!

Noche Dia Coffee
323 E Monterey Ave, PomonaIf I could I would give this place 10 stars. A hidden gem.
I recently discovered Noche Dia Coffee, and it’s quickly become my go to spot for iced coffee on the weekends (they are only open Sat & Sun). Their peanut butter iced coffee is a must try it’s rich, flavorful, and perfectly refreshing. One thing to note is the generous sizes. When they say large, they mean LARGE! A Large is 32oz!!! So their prizes are great for the amount you get. You can even order half gallons, which is perfect for sharing or indulging over a few days.
Be sure to get there early because the popular flavors tend to sell out fast. For those who aren’t coffee drinkers, their refreshers are fantastic. The tamarindo peach is absolutely delightful yummmm a refreshing blend that’s perfect for a hot day. Their breakfast tacos are equally impressive. Fresh and flavorful, they make for a great start to your morning.
What’s even better is the story behind Noche Dia Coffee. It’s a family-owned business run by an English teacher (who grew up in Pomona), his parents, and his sisters. The sister is working here before heading off to college, and all tips go towards her college fund. Supporting a local business while contributing to someone’s education feels great.
Noche Dia Coffee is more than just a pop-up shop, it’s a community treasure. If you haven’t visited yet, you’re missing out on an exceptional experience. Highly recommend!

Tropical Mexico
1371 S East End Ave, PomonaMy bosses were raving about this place so I decided to pick this place to celebrate my birthday with them. I decided to try the Lunch Special Carne Asada Taco with Cheese Enchiladas and Beans. Also, we shared the guacamoleand chips. It was sooo delicious that I was eating so much of the quac than I should have and I even finish my whole plate from the lunch special. The lunch special dish was more than enough that I was so stuff from it. My co worker decided to get the churros and it's so flavorful, fresh, hot, and delicious! I would definitely come here again to try other dishes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very clean and lot of seats inside. It didn't feel too cramped. There are tons of parking spaces so made it easy to find parking.

Mi Cafecito Coffee
101 S Main St, PomonaNice small coffee spot in Pomona. Easy parking in its own lot to the right of the building. Service was quick and friendly They have a simple menu with some coffees and teas. I tried their cafe de olla latte which was nice. Half sweet was perfect. The coffee itself wasn't that strong, which would be my only critique. They also have some sweetened and unsweetened teas. Their unsweetened strawberry green tea was pleasant and enjoyable. I did snag their last remaining dark chocolate cookie which was okay. Overall solid spot if in the area, but not necessarily worth a detour.
