Terrible customer service from Alex and Venit, they refuse to exchange a defective shoe we purchased less than a month ago.Go to Walnut Creek store, the customer service at that store is excellent.Stay away from the Pleasanton store.

Worse customer service, the staff treat you as if you’re doing them a favor to shop here, the product is good but unfortunately can’t say that about the customer service at this place.

This Vans is located in the Stoneridge Shopping Center in Pleasanton. I usually do not write reviews for retail stores, but a couple of their employees are not as friendly or helpful at this particular location. I had came here multiple times and the service is usually at least decent, but this last visit left a sour taste in my mouth. My bf and I were shopping for white vans, but we both have not bought Vans in awhile so we decided to play it safe and try on the shoes first. We flagged down a worker to ask to get the shoes in our sizes - we told her both of our sizes in men and women sizes. She came back after awhile, handed us one box in my size and walked away - we approached her and asked for the other size for my bf and she looked at us, gave us a side remark saying we didn't even ask her for the other size, then went to get it.

So I didn't have a good experience in this store. Salesman was very helpful bringing out my sizes. A sale is in progress. Demo shoe was marker $33 and I confirmed this price with salesman. When I went to pay I was told $65! Another customer hearing this brought over the demo shoe and confirmed it was marked $33. They would not honor the price marked on the shoe. Shipping online is free so I left the store unhappy and ordered shoes online. This is the first time I've ever seen a store not honoring marked shoe prices in front of 3 customers! I will not be back to this store and suggest you may also just order online if you know your size.

While the supervisor is checking me out and attempting to conVi me to work there. she failed to remove the security tags on half the clothes I purchased. Further more after returning 2 days later they refuse to help me without a receipt because they don't keep records. worst Vans there is. Do not shop here.

Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately they were out of a lot of stock, for myself and several others around me. Not the employees fault.. probably more like a supply chain issue.

My husband and I went to breakfast yesterday (Wednesday 04/27/22). Afterward, we decided to go to Stoneridge mall. I wore heels trying to look nice and my feet hurt after walking. We passed up the "Vans" store at some point. I wanted to ease my foot pain. I was going to go into another store to look for lower shoes. I remembered how much I missed my 2 pairs of older vans. I couldn't find a similar pair but decided to try on a few current styles. I don't remember the young, petite woman or the young man who dually assisted me ? ?. However, they were very attentive. It was after and around 1:00 pm, so hopefully, they'll see this review. I wore one pair out of the store. Thank you for my new socks and 2 new pairs of Vans. I will keep them for a long time. "HAPPY FEET ?!"

Seems like half the time I want a specific pair of shoes these days, they don't have my size in stock even when advertised, I still love this place regardless and won't wear anything else.

Usually love going to this store and never had any issues. Today I went in with my little sister because I wanted to purchase a new pair of slip ons. I asked for a size and a nice dude in the back helped me out. As I was trying them on, I saw that the lady at the cashier was watching me. After deciding that I wanted to buy the shoes, we walked around the store a few times to look for more things to buy. My little sister was looking at the hats and I was standing next to her and I was on my phone. The cashier lady then comes up to us and asked if we needed help and I said no. She then asks if she can "hold my shoes up front at the cashier". I was surprised so I was just like "ok, sure". Not sure why she would ask to hold the shoes if I'm about to purchase them in the first place?? She just did that because she thought we were gonna steal them. I thought that was rude and uncalled for. Not sure why she thought we were so suspicious. I guess it's a crime to browse around the store with the shoebox in your hands LOL Shame
