“This is one of the last authentic Liquor stores that I feel is left in our neighborhood it has been there for over 50 years there are no cages big windows when you go to check out just a very nice friendly atmosphere from the owner to the employees if you want to purchase something and have a conversation that’s exactly what well happen if you want to stop in and say hello anyone of the team members will stop what they’re doing and chat with you it hasn’t changed much other than the name which used to be Yukon liquor and Then ABC liquor store they are fully supplied with everything from ice cream candy bars cold beverages of your choice and of course a friendly hello and goodbye and thank you for coming. it’s definitely part of The north Torrance family I have nothing to say but good things about every single person working there specially the owner he will go out of his way to make you comfortable and make sure your needs are fulfilled Five stars all the way. And thank you very much to you and all of your staff for your kindness and being helpful to find what you need it really is a one stop shop store. For those who are passing through I know you will remember to stop here again for those who are locals we know exactly where to go to Lucky dog liquor and Mart is within your reach for most of the neighborhood it is walking distance which gives you away and give you a little bit of incentive to walk instead of drive for your Health unless you’re in a hurry either way they will accommodate your needs all you have to do is ask. Loyal customer since 1964! If you know you no the area Yukon ave and Artesia Boulevard you are a lucky dog Customer I think it’s true!Stop in and look around it will catch your attention on the inside a lot of work went into this in my opinion you will love the inside but you’ll never forget the outside specially growing up in the neighborhood. To the owner and his team I personally thank you for keeping this little piece of property on Yukon in Artesia Boulevard a special place for the ones who are up here in the ones who are stopping in and the ones who are directing you to go to Lucky dog! “I first discovered K&L several months ago when I was looking for a place that carried Greek wines. This was the only place in LA I could find. I ended up joining one of their wine clubs and I frequent their monthly tastings. Everyone there is so nice and knowledgeable. I’ve been to several tastings with Mandana and she’s amazing! Really friendly and knows her wines. Even when she’s not doing a tasting she always makes sure to say hi! Craig is also great on the member tastings. Really a gem and I’m so happy I found it. They have everything you could ever want. Definitely check out their tastings.”

The only thing I didn’t love was being asked to tip at checkout for just picking up cheese, as it was already on the pricier end”
“Awesome store with probably the best selection of liquor around. Hundreds of tequilas, vodkas, gins, whiskeys, etc. including somewhat rare ones. This is the only store I know of in LA with multiple types of Giffard liqueurs. Wine selection a little smaller but still great. Only trick is being able to find this place in the back corner of an industrial warehouse/distributor complex.”

“Employees are very friendly and will ask you if you need help. My cashier was kind and friendly even with my brain farts. I was able to find peppers which is surprisingly hard to find lately especially good ones. I bought some of the Jalapeño poppers and I swear they are the best thing ever so yummy and easy to cook. I also stocked up on some broccoli and burger buns. Honestly I was pleasantly surprised at how fairly inexpensive it was considering how expensive groceries are these days anywhere else. And the quality of the items are great. The store was also clean and organized which is always good.”

I first chose this place (browsing options from the east coast) because of their beautiful gift boxes with so many great products to fill them with, but was so touched by the extra care I received when I emailed following my order with a delivery request. “Super cool wine and unique goods shop. I had discovered the place on accident after stopping by a shop down the street from them on accident. Great selection of beers, natural wines, liquor and snacks. The guy working there was super helpful, helped me navigate through their wide variety of unique beers to find a hazy IPA that was absolutely delicious! I definitely want to come back for their wine tastings and to pick up a bottle of bourbon . Oh and not to throw any of the other establishments under the bus but the pricing at Bar & Garden is super competitive if not significantly better than other spots within walking distance of there.”

“I absolutely LOVE this place! They have always delivered within 30 minutes as advertised, and they call if there's any issues. It costs more than the grocery store, but less than Whole Foods, so I'm happy to pay for delivery when I'm chillaxin and don't want to get dressed and leave the house. ***Bonus points for days like today when my phone wasn't working properly and the delivery guy texted me so I could go downstairs and meet him INSTEAD of him just leaving. Highly recommend!”
