“Great place, while visiting my husband's family we stop by close to 20 years ago and bought pink Jasmine and China lily, I was so in love with China lily that my husband would get me a bottle every time he visited. Loved this store. Unfortunately the scent seemed to have change formulary and comparing the scent from a bottle my hubby got me about a year or so with what I just got, they smell slightly different and the new one on my skin smells slightly weird. This makes me sad but I love the store so I am ordering some of their other scents to see if I can find a new favorite.”

“Bill is as good as it gets ! We replaced an existing window with a custom stained glass and it looks fantastic ! From the beginning of the process, Bill was patient, very helpful and made the choices we faced so much easier...he's been doing this for a longtime and it's evident. His craftsmanship is amazing, and we now have a most beautiful piece of art in our home...makes us want to replace every window with some Mr. Bill artwork...Go get some for yourselves, you'll be glad you did...thank you my friend.”

“Great little gift shop, all dressed up on this December day for the holidays. All sorts of Christmas ornaments, some Christmas decor and gifts, and hand-made items, too. Will definitely be back after Christmas to see what they have when they are no longer stocked to the walls with Christmas cheer. Prices seemed to be fair, and the staff person working the floor had a nice smile for the customers. One little drawback, minor really, is there is not much room to travel through the store. My path was blocked a few times by other shoppers. Not unexpected, actually, just worth noting since it was a weekday. I'm sure weekends are quite a bit more busy.”

“What a great little store in the heart of old town Placerville! It's right by the parking garage and the tower. They are not usually open on Tuesdays but I got lucky and they were open on this Tuesday. Park in the garage - two hours free! There is a Hallmark store in the back with all the good Hallmark things: Cards, wrap, mugs, bows, ornaments, etc. They have the cutest plushies toys for the kids. They have art supplies!! (Good art supplies) and a great selection of sodas and candy. It's a really fun store and I got some cute things for gifts here. Can't wait to come back again.”

Frippery was the word that the shop uses to describe themselves. It's a fun word to say. It means an unnecessary ornament in architecture, dress, or language. The shop is on Main Street in Historic Placerville, CA. The shop is filled with fun, frivolous fripperies that you didn't know you wanted. Just stop on in and take a gander.”
