With so many gym options in the Petaluma area, I am so thankful to have discovered Main Street Fitness and their super slow / high intensity training method! As someone who recently turned 40, and super busy with two jobs, I could tell that my strength and overall fitness was declining. Yet I enjoy physically demanding hobbies of ice hockey and backpacking, and so I knew I needed to do something to get my strength back up to speed. So, when I got a pass to try out this gym, I was pleasantly surprised to find that there is a science backed program (read Dr. Doug McGuff on this) that would allow me to accomplish my goals quickly with only one or two 20 minute workouts a week! Add to that the accountability and guidance of having a personal trainer (all their workout sessions are one-on-one with a personal trainer), and I’ve been noticing significant results now after only about 3 months on the program.

Main Street Fitness provides a quick and convenient way to get strong quickly! (Using a super slow method called high intensity training -- which I hadn't known about before but am quickly learning to greatly appreciate through the excellent guidance of their personal trainers!)

I've mostly been working with Denise on Tuesday and Deb on Thursday's, they have been amazing !!! I am amazed at the difference the work outs are doing for me. I'm able to do more than I've done in years. But with my injuries sometimes it's a struggle here and the cost monthly is extremely high.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Denise is the most amazing trainer. knowledgable and super friendly! She makes me the best I can be. Super slow has changed my whole approach to working out. I look forward to my workouts now. And have amazing results!!!

I started super slow exercise at Main Street about two years ago. I have been diagnosed with congestive heart failure. When the doctor compared my tests from last month to two years ago, he said that he wouldn't be able to detect the congestive heart failure with the current normal testing. "Your change in life style by adding your exercises have lengthened your life. Keep it up!" Thank you Main Street, (Jim & Cindy Tuck) for giving me more time with my family and grandkids!
