“While this is now a private condominium complex of sorts, it is still a beautiful building. I would have loved to have been able to see the inside. It is something special to see. The building is celebrating their 125th anniversary with a gala in March with proceeds used for restoration.”

“It is spacious and has multiple entrances, making it easy to get in and out.Very comfortable. It's a beautiful place. There is a parking lot right across the street, but I'm not sure how much it is. However, it seemed a bit crowded due to the large number of event crowds. If you don’t mind walking about a blockParking at E Green St, Pasadena, CA 91101 is $12 per day. It's a bit disappointing that there is no discount on parking.”

“I absolutely recommend the Maxwell house as a wedding venue! The architecture of this historical mansion is so beautiful, It gave our wedding a more unique feel than your typical hall. From the ornate ceilings, beautiful grand staircase to the fine art hung up on every wall - it was everything we imagined for our day! Cindy was so kind and responsive, the whole staff was amazing! “So this is a cute little venue in the middle of Pasadena. First of all, I would like to thank the University club of Pasadena for being here at all. Fun fact, every wedding I'm invited to. Every one of them! I have to drive some untold number of hours to go to a destination for people who I adore that I will talk to for less than 2 minutes. And then I'll spend the rest of the time saying weird stuff to my friend's family and other friends who I have never met. And I will probably end up as a footnote to the wedding stuff. Oh hey you remember that weird guy that talked about his foot fetish? Oh, Alex? That guy sure talked a lot about that mental health stuff called attachment theory? Oh yeah dude was kind of weird. I think he has issues for giving himself. That's the kind of stuff that I don't want to deal with at a wedding and whenever I have to drive more than an hour to get to a wedding which is almost every freaking time. I have to deal with it but because University club of Pasadena open their doors to my friends I did not have to do that. I only had to drive 10 minutes from Sierra Madre to find myself a nice cozy parking spot because I showed up a little bit early. And let me tell you the staff they were on point. They treated us like true guests. The mixologists or bar keeps were superb. They were snarky. They made our drinks stiff and our faces happy. The guy that looks like Gavin newsom was a delight. A real slice of a guy. The gown that served me a shot of whiskey before I sang I Believe in a thing called Love by the darkness. I'm blowing Kisses at you. So the venue is spacious. There was plenty of dance floor. There was plenty of space for people to sit through the ceremony and I just have to tell you that I loved being here. It was such a great place for my friends to have a truly wonderful and beautiful day. And I'm glad that I got to sharing it. And if this chorubic faced ginger bearded man could find such Joy. Just watching other people enjoy themselves. Imagine yourself here enjoying yourself or letting other people enjoy the things that you enjoy. Can you even imagine that? No, of course not because I'm the one with the imagination. You're the one reading this. Go watch my favorite band. The go home Becky's streaming live now. Not really. “Hosted my baby shower here and it was so lovely! Armen (owner) & Bibi (our server) were very attentive and helped me make my event go as smooth as possible! On the day of, Bibi was a one woman show and she was SO nice/amazing. She made sure to clean up promptly after my guests and tend to our needs. The venue is beautiful inside and has its own bathroom. The food was so delicious and they let you take home leftovers if there are any. I had the: green salad, fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, beef lasagna, calamari and upgraded to salmon. I also added the tiramisu dessert which was SO GOOD! The only thing on my part was I thought the food was a buffet / unlimited but it was just served buffet style. I just wish I had clarified this because I ended up having to order more food when a few of my guests came late because there was none left. Just be mindful of this when booking and I suggest ordering more than you need if you know your guests eat a lot. I would definitely consider having future events here! Thank you for a great experience :)Parking: There's street parking that I know can be hard to find on some days and there's valet right next door for $16.”

“Great venue for parties. Lots if room, great kitchen, reasonable prices. We had a blast. Patrick is super easy to work with and makes sure the venue is top notch. Will come back again for parties.”

“It's my first time visiting The Ice House. Such a nice place to visit. Byron Monterroso got to perform on stage he did a amazing job. I'm proud of him. I have to give the server service a 3 star. The server tried to over charge me in the beginning of the show. She never gave me a refill on my diet coke. Yet, she claims at the moment my refill is on the way. Next time, I'll just get myself up to ask for a refill Service can improve.”

“My family has hosted over 4 weddings in this Hall and has always enjoyed their time. They don't kick you out too early, the hall is very spacious and the facilities are clean. I believe one wedding I attended here had at least 250 guests. I would recommend this Hall for a wedding, quinceañera or any other large event.”

“Serene, stunning, absolutely gorgeous. This hidden gem is a great place to take a date and explore the well maintained Japanese garden with lots of history. It is quite small, but you get transported to another time the second you enter. It is super peaceful and beautiful. There is a $12 entrance fee but it is worth it as a one time thing. Be ready to take lots of photos, and say hi to the cute ducklings!”

“A lovely studio which a great selection of a variety of classes which are affordable and simple to sign up for. Large spacious studios with a great environment for learning and choreography. They also stay up to date with their social media about classes and changes which I appreciate. Also always great to see how the other classes are.

My only criticism is that the classes are only an hour long, unlike most other dance classes which are 1.5. It doesn’t give much time to learn a choreography and to solidify it by the time people start showing up for the next class. I’ve taken a few different classes and each time the lesson was rushed and the instructor is flustered at the end to finish up. While the students are just getting the hang of it. I would recommend longer classes because this studio is a real gem in Pasadena.”

“Ii traveled for business. The stay was a pleasure. The breakfast was worth the cost. The bar does have limited meal options but food places in walking distance. The parking charge per night was a little much being I am paying to stay but ok. The staff are kind and very helpful from the front desk to housekeeping.”

“Really enjoyed my round at Brookside on a Sunday afternoon. Rental clubs were brand new set of Taylormade Qi10s. Greens were in great shape and fast. Playing beside the Rose Bowl and the San Gabriel mountains was a special treat. Pro Shop and clubhouse were very nice. Bring sunscreen and even an umbrella if you’re walking as the sun is really strong in the summer.”

“Holiday Inn Express & Suites exceeded expectations! The front desk staff, especially the receptionist today, was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and offered a great breakfast selection. Overall, a pleasant and welcoming experience. Highly recommend!

“This is a smaller location but nice. They put up names of those celebrating their birthdays. The weather assigned service was very attentive. The food selected was tater tots, chicken strips, veggie dish, buffalo pieces and drinks. There was also pepperoni pizza that someone ordered while bowling. They do have a separate section that awards to be for more private events as you couldn’t just enter. There’s a bar area and small arcade. Unfortunately they don’t have a ramp readily available for individuals with disabilities and when it was, it was more for small children and not young adults. They do have security as it moves towards the evening. Where I took off a star was the bathroom stalls were dirty.”

“We booked Imperial for our corporate holiday party and it was great! Amelia and Amber were very helpful throughout the process. The venue is beautiful. and the staff were all so wonderful and so kind. would definitely recommend”
