He has consistantly had helpful advice without being one of those "You're doing wrong" kind of guys. He's much more of the "You might try this" types. Offering up resourceful suggestions. He obviously knows the products and recommends complimentary goods that will work toghether. It was my 2 or 3rd time asking questions. BHOH has good staff. “What keeps me coming back here even though it's a bit out of the way is the store is so chill. Lots of space to walk around and browse, TONS of new comics (including variants) on the wall, back issues, graphic novels... and if that's not enough, there are cats to say hello to! (Pugsley is especially friendly) Props also go to the young woman who is usually working there when I go in - she's always full of recommendations and is all around just very nice. I'm sorry I can't remember her name or I'd call her out! If I were to offer any feedback at all? I know there are some discounted comics and books but they're sometimes hard to find in a centralized area - but that might be my fault for not looking well enough. Other than that... A+ love it.”

“Mega City One is amazing!! It may not look like much from the outside, but if you love comic books like me, it has mostly EVERYTHING you are looking for to meet your regular comic book fixes!! I've been going to this store for years and they rarely let me down. The owner and JON who's runs the store are incredible and have a wealth full of knowledge. Beyond that, they will go to the extra mile to make sure that your comic book needs are fullfied and you and your needs are fully taken care of. Also, Mega City One far exceeds their closest competition, that "Rotten Apple" place down the street! Forever, for me, Comic Books have always stood for "Truth, Justice and the American Way!" When I visit Mega City One, I feel like I'm stepping into the Daily Planet where hidden greatness can be found. They are so much better than President's Lex Luther's villains lair down the street. Can't recommend Mega City One's excellent customer service enough! They will take care of you and you will NOT ever be disappointed!!”

“The clerk was extremely helpful in helping me locate exactly what i was looking for (without the use of the computer might I add). We conversed about my purchase and current reads which helped the overall personability of the experience. It's located in an old movie theater which is super quirky, but I had to knock it off a star b/c there's no air conditioning it seems so the tiny location was extremely hot.”

“Incredible expertise, knowledge and service. I took my late grandfather's 1946 American Flyer set that hadn't run in 30 years here. From the second I put the box on the counter the woman helping me knew exactly what I had brought in. She was honest about how long the repair would take (about 6 weeks) but was confident that they could repair it. The model was finished ahead of schedule, though a wheel broke after running it a bit. I brought it back in and they replaced the wheel (which was not part of the original servicing) free of charge. Today this nearly 80 year old model train, a priceless memory of my grandfather, runs perfectly whereas it barely moved before. Since then I have made many purchases of equipment in HO, O and S. The knowledge base here is second to none, and they have always been upfront and honest. One time I came in and the man helping me realized before I did that he accidentally overcharged me a little bit last time and volunteered to credit it back to me. Mistakes are human, but I love that kind of integrity. You can find model trains cheaper online, but the level of expertise and customer service at Train Shack means that I can rely on them to help me solve problems and not just add to my collection but make my existing collection even better. They have a lifetime customer with me.”

“Big fan of Tokyo Japanese Lifestyle, but especially this bright easy peasy shop filled to the brim with cute collectibles, fun figurines, plushy things, tea sets, chopstick sets, home goods, posters, clothing, candy, accessories, and oh so much more!Located on the ground floor of the Burbank Town Center just before Mrs. Field's Cookies and Macy's, past the food court and World Market on the right hand side if entering from Magnolia Blvd from the main entrance of the mall... On the left ,if coming from Macy's and the Cypress Avenue side/main parking garage.This store is always well kept and the customer service is through the roof. Some items can run higher than you'd expect but being a specialty gift shop and toy store of sorts it's hard to find half of what they carry at a better deal, if they aren't already the best deal. Definitely prefer coming in and to this location over others or navigation the website which has a faulty store locator feature. Online shopping may be the best for some places, but for TJL in-store and on the floor is what you should adore.Visit the Burbank - Tokyo Japanese Lifestyle... It's super kawaii!!”
“This location has a great selection of items. It was very clean and organized. I asked an employee about an item and they were so nice and helpful. It is a big show with a good variety of different types of items where almost everything is $5 or less. If it is more than $5 it is clearly marked. They have self service check outs which made the process smooth and someone nearby if you need help. There is lots of parking and there were plenty of baskets for shopping. I will definitely come back to this location.”

“I think this is the largest of the souvenir shops. The products are diverse and the quality is good. However, except for the clothes. Like most clothes sold at souvenir shops, it is so thin that it seems like it will stretch out once you wear it, and the material is likely to tear if you pull it a little. But a short-sleeved t-shirt costs over $30, so even if you buy other products, the t-shirt is not recommended. However, if there is a tee that you really like, there is nothing you can do about it...There are a variety of products such as mini cups, Hollywood sign snowballs, key chains, playing cards, and handkerchiefs with hemp on them, so you will be spoiled for choice. But actually, the small souvenir shops throughout Hollywood may be of lower quality, but the prices are better, so if you want similar products, I recommend buying them elsewhere rather than here. I think I bought a California license plate for about $4 cheaper than here.”
“I love this place. They have a wall trying to keep up with the latest comic books that I can appreciate. Not sure how to explain but if I wanted the 10 latests comics of a series, probably couldn't get it but they still have the latest comics. Apologies if I didn't explain that well. There's a ton of collectibles so if you're looking for a gift or anything to decorate your house, solid options here. Shirts are a lil too nerdy for me but they seem to have been made of solid material. Customer service is great. They've always been helpful while I've been here. Not sure about the prices but it's like the toys r us for comic book shops”

“Great time at the Funko Shop. We inadvertently saw this place on our way to the Hollywood walk of fame and ended up parking across the street. Metered street parking available along Hollywood Blvd. and side streets. The store is organized into different collections: Marvel, Disney, Horror, Harry Potter, DC, Gaming, Sports, etc...lots to see. I love the large human-sized displays they have around the store. Tons of photo ops with your favorite characters. As expected, lots of Funko Pop figures and merch for purchase. There is also an area where you can create your OWN custom POP Figure ($30). All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Although I would consider this an absolute must for any Funko fan, most others will find something (or character) they can appreciate in the store.”
