3801 Miranda Ave, Palo Alto“It seems odd to post a review of a facility providing hospice care, but at the same time - what could be more important than caring for the dying? I had to confront my image of VA hospitals based on what I have seen in TV and movies. Our experience was anything but that. The care of the hospice team was just humbling. My dad was checked-in with a cancer diagnosis that was clearly going to end his life. That is a scary proposition for patients and family. His end of life care was the most dignified and comfortable outcome we could have wished for. There are no words for the gratitude I have for the VA Hospice Team. As one doctor said, "There are lots of ways our government has not taken great care of our service men and women, but THIS they got right." Amen. Amen.”

2701 Middlefield Rd, Palo Alto“Staff have been truly great.Their service is 5 stars — they solve problems, greet you, seem to be authentic, good humans.I think they are short-staffed in the pharmacy which is a management issue.I hate the new maze of telephone prompts when you call (again, management issue).App is pretty good but if you have a med on hold there is no way to unhold it except coming in person or calling and going through the phone maze. Also, one of the meds I had delivered never arrived, two weeks later. I called and they will have it ready for me to pick up tomorrow.Again, five stars for the staff there!”
“Picked up prescriptions three times. One time via drive-thru which was quick and uncomplicated. Two times via the in-person counter. Can get really busy sometimes.”
“Because of its unrivaled customer service, this CVS distinguishes out as remarkable. The welcome atmosphere is created by the helpful staff, who has even won over my dog, who eagerly joins us on our visits. It's a credit to the welcoming atmosphere they continually maintain. Photo credit”

352 University Ave, Palo Alto“Good staff, take note that they may be understaffed. Remember covid? But if you go when they first open there won’t be a line. You just have to go when others aren’t flocking there. Have some patience and let them do their job for you.”
“This is for the pharmacy staff! They are friendly and they really do their job well, especially under what I can imagine to be a very demanding number of people who they serve, as well as probably very demanding customers in Palo Alto area. They are fast, efficient but they take the time to listen to me when I have any kind of insurance issue etc. Thank you pharmacy staff!!!”

“I usually will find myself walking to this location to pick up meds from the pharmacy. The times I drop by vary but usually it may be weekday mornings or weekends. And there is usually no line or there is maybe one person in front. After your turn, The process of picking up meds is relatively fast and easy like "bang bang .. 6-4-3 .. two ... double play"”

2811 Middlefield Rd, Palo Alto“Shoresh and Betty are both great Pharmcist! The pharmacy itself has turned itself around from a couple of years ago ,were it was in deep trouble but looking at it now you couldn't tell. The pharmacy team is knowledgeable, helpful and very professional. I like the fact that they know many of their customers by name, which means they take the time to know you and care about your health. This is one of many reasons I go to this pharmacy!”

855 El Camino Real, Palo Alto“While I'm on a streak of reviewing pharmacies, I might as well review this one. The pharmacy didn't have enough of my medication to fill the full prescription but they also knew in advance my insurance wouldn't cover anything less than the full prescription. They gave me the option of giving me a partial dose at that moment or letting me come back a few days later to get everything at once. I was going out of town so I opted for the partial dose. The pharmacy team got permission to give me a discounted rate so that my per pill cost was the same as it would have been with my insurance so that they could make sure I had my medications available when I would need them. It was so thoughtful and kind.”

795 El Camino Real, Lee Building, Level A, Palo Alto“This is specifically for the staff at the Nuclear Medicine department especially Diana Pearson, my husband's attending nurse. They made my husband's 4 part appointment seamless. It's such a fun group that it felt like hanging out with family. They addressed all our concerns and made us feel comfortable with the procedure. Too bad Diana is retiring soon so hope you still get to experience the quality of care they provide.”
“My insurance doesn't cover my meds for the treatment I'm doing. The team here always helps me find ways to get appropriate discounts and find other ways to reduce the cost of medication. I wouldn't know how to do it without them, they are very kind. They are a specialty pharmacy, so they are busy filling orders, so you may have to wait if it is an order that was just submitted, and if you come during a busy time of day. But they have always made sure I get my medications even last minute if I needed them right away. Just play games on your phone if you are waiting, it's normal for not all things to be instantaneous. Very professional, helpful, and have the meds I need that others don't have!”
