“Always great grooming from here. One time I tried a mobile grooming service because Bow Wow Meow was fully booked for another month, the groomer claimed my gentle old dog bit her finger (he'd never done this in the past with multiple groomers at different places). I went back to Bow Wow. Bow Wow's groomer said there was no indication at all that my dog would bite a person. Never any issue here and they always groom my dog so well. Highly recommend.”

“Zoom Room Belmont is quite awesome. They have a bright, dedicated open space that's large enough for the six to ten dogs in a class to romp around and play (and still be subdivided for shy puppies if needed), and it's kept immaculately clean. They have a great selection of treats, toys, and dog gear. But its the people at Zoom Room that really make the difference. You can tell they all love dogs, and the trainers have vast experience and knowledge to share with you (and at least half of training a dog is training the owner). And I can tell that my puppy absolutely loves being there.”

“Fantastic find! My partner and I live at Artist's Walk Apartments in Fremont, and Bogie's was always in the periphery of our vision... I am originally from the San Mateo area and had been taking our mini aussie Harley to another place in San Carlos. Harley was well due a groom and our previous shop couldn't get her during the calendar month. Plus their rates had increased. We called Bogie's, and they offered an appointment as soon as the very next day! Great price and everyone was so friendly and hospitable. Harley isn't the easiest doggo, but they didn't bat an eye. We also picked up some treats and toys for our cat, Banksy. They offered an amazing discount on both our shopping goodies, and on the grooming since we were new customers. Highly recommend, and we will be going back. =]”

The experience here definitely made my dogs tail wag for his birthday.I called the morning before my puppy's first birthday inquiring on a cake or dog birthday treats, and I came in after work and the delivery of cakes came in- perfect timing.The lady who helped me greeted me immediately and asked if I needed any help. I told her I was shopping for my dog's birthday and she remembered me from the phone.She was super friendly and let me browse through all the cakes till i found what I wanted. I then took a browse throughout the store for gifts. The store is small, but organized. Upon checking out, she mentioned that she would put together a birthday bag for my dog, and the gentleman working there put it together. I was stunned with all the goodies they gave me. Toys and treats to add to my puppy's birthday, as well as a coupon for future purchases.My pup will be so happy, and they made me happy that I could give so much for my puppy's first birthday.DEFINITELY recommend coming here. “The store's aesthetic was sooo cute! We purchased a bunch of velvet harnesses/collars/leashes! Kota, in the pictures, is about 70 lbs, and the size XL fit him for the collar! I love how they have matching fits you can purchase for you and your pup, however I wish they had more clothes for bigger dogs. I didn't really see any.”

“I'm writing to recognize the excellent customer service I received from Tiffany at the Menlo Park Unleashed. Tiffany herself deserves 5 stars. I'm giving the store 4 stores for a few reasons:1)It no longer has the breadth of inventory it used to (I've had to transition to buying online for almost all the items I regularly purchased for years for my dog and 2 cats.2) Not all of the employees are trained to put in the effort to provide excellent customer service.3)The store doesn't have a way to override its 30 day return policy on their in store computer.I found this out when I endeavored to return a large unopened bag of cat food on Sept. 17th that was delivered to me (from an online order) on August 17th. (the food no longer agrees with our cats).The first employee I was interacting with said this order didn't qualify under the return policy as it had actually been 31 days. Her attitude was basically your S.O. L. When I explained I had spent many thousands of dollars at this store and thru the online site over the past decade and that this seemed like a really poor way to serve a loyal customer, the first employee continued to react as a bureaucrat, as if she had been trained at the DMV. On the other hand, Tiffany, who also heard the conversation, said she would see if there was anything she could do. She ended up calling the online customer service folks who put her on hold, took my phone number down as I needed to leave, committed to calling me back when she heard something, and indeed called me back confirming she was able to have the purchase refunded.Thank you Tiffany for making the extra effort! I hope management recognizes your excellent customer service and trains others to do the same. As a result of your actions I'll continue to make some purchases through PetCo.”

“We just adopted our sweet senior boy. He badly needed a bath and his nails trimmed. Petco took great care of our sweetie! The staff were really friendly and explained the whole process to us. Our dog was not nervous at all (despite being very nervous about our attempts at home baths and nail trims!). The cashiers were very nice and gave our doggy treats. He was really excited to pick out his post-groom bone.”

“Clean and pleasant looking store. It's small, sadly none to very little options for kitten for food. Went to get specific brand kitten food but don't have any. I did get some freeze dried chicken that's okay with kitten, just it's not specialized kitten food. I looked through meal, treats, canned food, 99.9% don't explicitly mention it's for kitten, and I don't have time to read through the fine prints. Staff are nice pointed out freeze dried food that's okay for kitten for me. He's 3 months old now, I will go back to get adult cat food once it's time, I like the adult cat food options there. otherwise, convenient location for other random things for the kitten for now.”
