“Beautiful resort, but my main concerns were the rooms and handicap accessibility.

The rooms are out dated compared to the resort as a whole. The shower leaked, we had unnecessary tables that made our room cluttered, and the TV blocked the view of the mountains.

Handicap Accessibility:

There were handicap stickers on every door but none of them were automatic except the front door to the building. We did find an automatic door in a hallway but it didn't work.

The resort restaurants were expensive and ok. The only restaurant I would recommend is the Rockwood Grill buffet breakfast.

They do have full functioning Starbucks, which is great!”

Room was super nice, big, clean and modern. Shower was great, bed really comfy.

Really close to amenities, thought about 15min drive.

“Our recent trip to Palm Springs was outstanding, largely due to our host, Kim, whose hospitality was second to none. From the moment we arrived, Kim made us feel exceptionally welcome, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout the stay.

The resort offered a unique blend of eclectic charm and serene comfort, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The large pool area was a true oasis, providing a refreshing break from the desert heat. We were also impressed with the variety offered at the complimentary breakfast, which was a great start to our days.

Another notable feature was how well the rooms maintained a cool temperature, even without the air conditioning running. This attention to comfort, combined with the excellent customer service we received, made our stay very pleasant.

Additionally, the resort's location was ideal, just a short walk from the El Paseo strip, which has a fantastic selection of restaurants and shops. This convenience added an extra layer of enjoyment to our visit.

We can't thank Kim enough for her dedication and kindness. If you’re heading to Palm Springs, we highly recommend staying at Casa Larrea Inn, where the combination of great amenities, a prime location, and Kim's exceptional hospitality will ensure a memorable experience.”

“Small inn, but real clean and comfy, our stay was great. The staff was friendly rooms were clean and well set up. The pool had plenty of towels . We used uber to get around town and it worked perfect.

Safety: We got back to the inn around 200 am with no problem, didn't see anything around the inn that would cause concern.”

“Great location, easy to walk to restaurants or drive. Staff were great from booking over the phone, to the check in process, especially that my wife got there before me. The breakfast team was super helpful and the choice of cooked breakfast was welcomed. I happily recommend this BW hotel.”

“Dear Marriot Corp. I have visited a dozen of your places from high to low. This one is the only one that offered a lift to help people get in and out of hot tubs and a swimming pool.

The other ones sometimes had them but couldn’t offer them because they weren’t certain what to do.

This place knew what to do.

I really don’t give reviews.

I give praise.

Thank you.

“Travel during peak season and "annual maintenance" is scheduled for the main pool aka Snakebites. Be sure to ask if there will be closures before booking. Now, we're all going to be crammed like sardines in the other pools.”

“Very good for what we paid! Would recommend if you were in a pinch and/or on a budget. We traded some of our Welk Platinum points to stay here during the Christmas holiday (2023). It was not to the level of the Welk properties we have visited. But, it was quiet, clean, and comfortable. We traded at pennies on the dollar, so it was a good value.”

“The first room I was given reeked of marijuana. Not sure if left over or neighbor but this place is suppose to be non smoking. The staff moved me quickly and without pushback. Rooms were roomy and clean, bed was comfy. The property was nice.”

“Clean room, no bugs (yay!), ac worked well and the overhead fan. I was very comfortable. Beds are a little firm but I was so tired, I didn't care. My shower in room 233 took a while to warm up but again, no big deal. I was happy for the made to order waffles. I would stay here again if I found myself in Palm Desert for whatever reason. The digital tip card made it easy to thank the housekeeping staff. Thanks guys!

Rooms: Room 233 King Jr Suite is very spacious. I was comfortable with the desk, dining table, sofa and separate wash basin.”

“The hotel complex is fantastic. The room was very large and clean. The dishes and cutlery in the kitchen were in very good condition and clean. The shower was good too. The pool area is very nice. The pool was great too. The location of the hotel is excellent. The breakfast offering was also very good. A large selection of food and everything freshly prepared. The only thing is that there is no room cleaning offered during your stay. We were there 2 nights. We really liked it. We would go there again in a heartbeat.

Rooms: Very large rooms with a balcony or terrace. Comfortable bed. Clean bathroom.

Nearby activities: Good location for various sights. Hotel has gym, tennis courts and pool. At the neighboring hotel you can use the whirlpool and pool. There is a Starbucks there in the hotel.

Safety: Very safe area and hotel good locking arrangements.

Food and drinks: Breakfast buffet freshly prepared and delicious. Coffee and water available all day.”
