“This review is for the office at Buena Park (AUSTIN INDUSTRIES/6800/RANGETHORPE AVE/UNIT B/BUENA PARK, CA 90620/Call: 877-822-7652). I called the mfg and was given 2 names of local distributors, one close to me and Austin Industries in Buena Park (way far fro me!). The distributor close to me refused to sell me the item (said I had to a plumber!) BUT..I felt lucky and called Austin Industries in Buena Park, Carla (Karla?) she helped me to get the item (she was fantastic!), I am not familiar with how things work in the water heater, she followed up, sold me the item, I received it on time, and she was just fantastic to deal with. After receiving the item, I had some troubles installing it..so,..I called Austin (Buena Park) AGAIN!.She connected me to Stan. Stan was very good/super! He was incredibly helpful and supportive-I called him 3 or is it 5 ? times in 30 minutes and he STILL helped me! unbelievable! You know when you are a homeowner and need to do DYI and professionals (or handymen) are sometimes condescending to you?? NOT these people at Austin in Buena Park. Carla(Karla) and Stan really helped me, saved money and assisted me to do the job...followed through with me...made sure I got the item..installed it..hot water on...and all with the best attitude I have seen in a long while! (you can tell when people smile on the phone! they did).....I am really thankful since I was out of hot water for 3 weeks..and they helped me great deal...Thanks again Carla(Karla) and Stan..thanks Austin in Buena Park! “Went to Leland to get help fixing a gas leak. He sent out a tech who diagnosed the problem but who did not do the underground work to fix it . Leland sent me to Steve Schick who came out, diagnosed the issue and through some creative plumbing work, resolved the problem. That in my opinion is stellar service. greatly appreciated!”
