“5 starts!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The young woman that works here at the desk, is so knowledgeable and a badass at her work!I will recommend you Visit the store, talk to her, ask your questions and make sure you pay attention. She shared so much about plumbing fixtures that now I am able to distinguish when something has plastic or more of a metal component.Also, they have stock of different pieces, so you can probably make your selections -place the order- and take home what your contractor needs to continue with the framing and wall work.”
“I can't believe Benjamin Moore made exactly the same paint as Kelly Moore. I just show the lady the photo and she mix the paint for me. And even better I found a painter there for me. And after we test the paint Benjamin Moore made, the painter said " yeah, this is the right color." Amazing, isn't it ?
Tell you what, the first store I tried to made the same paint was S-W also on Ocean Ave, the guy look at my photo said he can't do it without seeing my actual wall.
So I feel super lucky I tried again in Benjamin Moore, and you know Kelly Moore closed their business forever in Jan, 2024 right ?”
“After wasting time trying to get help from anyone useful at Lowe's (30 minutes on hold then they hung up when transferring me, and another 45 minutes driving over there ....to be told they can't get me what I want shipped from another store) I ended up here. They are cheerful, and helpful.Pros: You can pretty much get what you need here, and yes they will deliver if you order enough. They have a parking lot and wont yell at you for cutting sheetrock in their lot so it'll fit in your car...they'll even give you a utility knife and a T-square.They cut glass and wood. They don't run away when they see you. They will offer actual helpful advice when asked and if they don't know they won't try to snow you.They are a family business and not associated with any of the Evil Empire stores.They have sales which helps a little depending on what you need ( you can look up their sales online.)If you have Covid induced low frustration tolerance, this is your place. Easy to park, find what you need and check out.Cons:They cost more then any of the Evil Empire stores. But cheap friends, time is money and sometimes you just gotta pay more to support the Forces for Good ( and your mental health.)”

“Rick and his team made a custom front door for my home. He was very meticulous with measurements and refused to simply build it to standard dimensions. He stated he makes customs windows and doors and wanted to ensure the door was sized appropriately. I appreciated the honesty and pride he takes into his business.”

“Open until 9pm on Sunday! All other hardware stores were already closed Sunday night at 8pm. I drove from San Mateo to Ace in san Bruno. Ace had what I needed urgently, I got in with 4 minutes before closing. The store team are awesome.I was pleasantly shocked for the fact that this Ace is also a full grocery store.”
“I went to get a battery on Sunday 7/23 and the store should have been open. The main door had a big piece of plywood over it and the place was locked up.I hope everything is okay.The owner wrote and said everything is okay ... If you grew up with gruff, competent but not always fawning workers, and dingy Army surplus stores like I did, you'll deal with it. Especially if you want a part for an older installation. Higher quality stuff that you get from Home Cheapo and its rivals for the most part.”

“Friendly, fast, and inexpensive service! I had Home Depot make me 3 keys with their $20,000 automated key machine and all 3 keys did not work. Came to designer's brass and was helped immediately. Not only were the keys the same price, but they also helped recut the keys from Home Depot. Never going anywhere else!”

I wanted a new door hinge and he not only knew the one I was keeping an eye out for but he even got it down for me because he is very tall.
