“This review is based on my experience with Russell Chester.My husband and I have been members of SAFE for 13 years and have never had a single issue banking with them until last week. We both made numerous attempts to have our issue resolved, and we were told by several people that there was nothing they could do to help us.I made one final attempt to have our problem resolved…… and I’m truly thankful I did. “Moved to Rocklin/Roseville area in 2002 joined Safe Credit Union. Over the last 23 years used Safe Credit for Mortgages, Line of Credit, Car Loans straight forward service in each case. Friendly, helpful staff no matter which branch I have entered, online and call center staff are knowledgeable, kind and provide also are excellent service to make any transaction smooth. “Love my bank! I haven't had a single bad interaction with any employee here. Everyone is always so helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. The few issues I've had have always been resolved very quickly. Their mobile app is easy to use and very convenient. You can pretty much do everything in the app that you can on a desktop. What led to write this review was the great experience I had getting an auto loan. I decided to go into the branch and talk to someone about my options. (Although you can apply for an auto loan online) Courtney helped me out and was so amazing. She went through a bunch of different options with me and played around with the numbers until we landed on a monthly payment that worked for me. She was able to get me a really good low rate. I honestly was shocked. She also was able to get me approved within a few minutes. I also shared with her that I was desperate to get a car asap and had hit a lot of dead ends. Apparently Schools works closely with Enterprise Car Sales. She shared that even she had purchased a few cars through them and had a great experience. She gave me their contact information, I went straight there after leaving Schools, and I bought the second car I test drove. So thank you to Courtney for a great (and fast) auto loan application experience and thank you for the perfect recommendation for where to buy a car!”

“I recently went into the Bradshaw Branch of the Sacramento Credit Union for a routine matter. The Branch Manager, Veronica Anguiano, and the teller listened to my concerns about a previous computer hack. They reviewed my loans and accounts and made recommendations that saved me about $350 per month. The teller also gave my dog treats and made me feel they care. That is why I continue to use the Sacramento Credit Union for my banking needs. I wish I remembered to write down the teller name. Veronica and her staff supported me through the entire process and made the transition easy. Thank you so much for watching out for me.”

“I will say that many credit unions have more of a family-oriented atmosphere than the big name financial institutions such as Bank of America, Chase, and Wells Fargo. And "SAFE Credit Union" is no exception. Based in Folsom (where their headquarters are) and serving the greater Sacramento area as well as Yuba, Sutter, El Dorado counties and parts of the Bay Area, this has been my go-to place dating back to the late-2000's. The location I am focusing on is directly on Madison Ave. and adjacent to San Juan Ave. in Citrus Heights. This location does have a drive-thru ATM machine as well as a single walk-up ATM machine outside. They do provide ample parking from two separate entrances. Once inside, the interior of this credit union is quite open and spacious. There are several areas where you can sit and wait as well as a respectable amount of cubicles where many of the bankers provide questions on loans (personal, student, home equity, vehicle) as well as mortgages, money market, and IRA's. The area where the tellers work is also spacious while the line moves rather quickly. Some of the major advantages that this credit union offers is free checking, no ATM fees at non-SAFE credit unions, low interest credit cards, and overdraft protection. I've taken out several loans where the monthly payments have not been too expensive which is a huge plus. Their mobile app is also very handy where you can transfer money with ease while navigating through all your accounts. All in all, "SAFE Credit Union" is an above average place to serve all your banking needs. My rating, four stars.”
“I have never experienced such excellent customer service with such a complex task. Reyna and Daniel have been so patient and honest with me about my used auto loan with Provident. This was my first auto loan and I was not very educated about it. They walked me through the process before hand so I knew what I was getting myself into. Then once I chose to go with them, they explained every step I had to take and were honest about how things worked. I highly recommend banking and loans with Provident. Thank you for your patience with me and all my questions. I'm so grateful I went with y'all!”

“I visited to this branch in person today (11/9) to dispute a recent transaction after losing my card. I came in feeling a little stressed about the situation, but that was quickly alleviated after Hannah at the front desk helped me address my problems. She assisted me with so much kindness and professionalism; she listened attentively to my story, showed so much patience in taking care of my needs, and eased my anxiety. Whenever finances is involved, it's always stressful but I can say with confidence that Hannah made it so quick and easy. “I came in today to make a new account after having issues with golden one. I decided I need to have a different bank right away as I walked in I was greeted and the girl who helped me. Tiffany was very nice and was able to help me make a new account within minutes we decided on the free checking and savings account for me since that would fit my financial needs, she was very sweet took her time and asked me before I left if I had any more questions and even showed me how to download the safe credit Union app and how to sign onto it she went above and beyond to make sure I had a wonderful experience really happy with her exceptional customer service skills She was awesome. I am very happy that I was able to open up an account and be in an out this was an awesome, smooth process. This location is a newer location. It's very large very nice very friendly staff. This is definitely a bank that everybody should check out given the fact that it's a credit union you could pull money from golden one and they will not charge a fee on it. They made my transaction very easy they were able to transfer my funds from the golden one into my new account. I was happy with my experience. I am really glad they were able to accommodate me given the fact it was a weekend that made my weekend even better. I highly recommend this establishment for anybody looking to get a new bank account. They are awesome. Plus they have really great auto loans definitely a place to check out. “I have been banking with SCU for over 15 years. I've been waiting to open an account with a different credit union (not SCU) because they offer it through my work. It has been over two weeks and I still haven't been approved. Mind you, I have an excellent credit score and no red flags. This terrible/annoying experience with the other credit union has made me really appreciate SCU even more than I already do. Everything with SCU has always been quick, efficient, and the staff has been great to work with. I appreciate SCU!”
“A few months back. I got in a car accident. The girl broke my car. I have two jobs and have great credit. All of my banking is with Golden 1. I was told I needed to have an $800 deposit to get a loan.Or a cosigner. LOL my car guy got me a loan from another Credit Union great rate didn't have to pay for a month, no deposit and no cosigner:-) I was getting invites for Golden 12 re-assign my loan to Golden 1. The rates were high. I went in and spoke with Armine Hovhannison member services specialist. And she agreed for me to stay with the loan that I have.. I love my golden one for so many reasons. Help me live my life. Financially speaking.... I felt as if my golden one let me down.. this gal renewed me to think I should stay with you... thank you a r m i n e”
