I can hardly ever get them to answer the phone and when I do get to talk to someone they usually say that they are always too busy and to call later. This is after I’ve been on hold for 25 minutes!!!

I want to send in a review about the CVS 1980 COLLEGE BLVD, Oceanside, CA. I have been using the pharmacy and store since moving from New York 5 years ago. I first met Molly when my husband and I set up our CVS accounts. She has been our contact person for nearly all of our needs and her friendly and helpful attitude always keeps us coming back. 4 people in front of me in the pharmacy line, 3 cars at the window line, ONE gal at the counter.The other pharmacy staff behind the counter seemed like they could care less.I've been going there for years, this is the norm.

Worst pharmacy system I have ever seen. My doctor called in a prescription I have had filled here the last 2 months. Text tells me they need to contact my doctor for another medication option. Automated message tells me I can pick up next week. Pharmacist tells me It can't be filled here because my doctor is in another county. CVS told me 3 different things, talk a screwed up system that can't give me the correct info. Time to change pharmacy, it scares me they can't give a straight answer.

Staff is always so helpful when it comes to coupon using. Today I came across manger Robert very rude and unprofessional. He asked if my items were purchased when I had looked at him and said YES . He still asked his employee to see if I was a thief or lying . So rude. He also mentioned “ you don’t tell me what to do” when we were communicating he was very offended didn’t know what he was doing. Need better manger here.

It was my third time into the pharmacy because they rang my Rx wrong. I'm a bit disabled when walking so it's a lot of work. I explained the issue about them not ringing it up under my insurance and what needs to be done. The lady I'm speaking to doesn't respond but moves over and another lady comes over and says 'you can't get a refund if it's been more than seven days!!' What the heck?!?!!Mean demeanor and without even knowing what has happened...so I have to explain to her. In the meantime, another girl found the information about the issue. And points me to someone else. Finally, the issue is taken care. NOW, I never expected them to say sorry for the screwup of ringing me up wrong in the first place. I don't expect it. BUT I do not like being treated like I'm the one doing something shady, when it's their mistake. They weren't even busy. Still shocked at the rude behavior. For me a drive thru is very convenient but I will not be using this pharmacy anymore. This was about noon on may 31 all women working.

Couldn't find employees anywhere. Stood at register for almost 5 min with no one I sight. Cashier was extremely slow and not interested in dealing with customers.

This review is strictly in regards to the pharmacist, Mr. Reza Khodadadi, from whom I have received vaccines more than once. The rest of the pharmacy staff, whether at the drive-thru or inside at the desk are okay. I haven't experienced any blatant rudeness, but they generally are either a bit brusque or indifferent. I am extremely disheartened to find with many businesses now that increased wait and cost are also accompanied by a decrease in quality of service. Reza however, is a standout not only in knowledge and skill but also in customer service.I waited approximately 15 minutes past my appointment time, but when Reza called me for the shingles vaccine he was extremely thorough, and patiently answered my questions regarding side effects of the shingles vaccine and the current vaccination booster recommendations for COVID. I've noticed, especially during the rush to accommodate COVID vaccine needs, that many other places have become OK with being sloppy in the preparation and administration of vaccines, disregarding proper technique in favor of expediency (i.e. giving vaccines openly in the main customer area, grimy counters, etc). Here at CVS there are small clean private rooms. Reza was meticulous about proper handling of the vaccines and needles. Also he made sure to advise on the best position of my arm to minimize any pain, and was very gentle in the administration. He treated both my husband and I on a personal basis giving his full attention to our scheduled procedures and not being distracted or rushed. Yes I understand that staffing shortages adversely affect wait times, however his willingness to complete his job at an appropriate pace, spending a few extra minutes in order to make sure all was done correctly and in the best manner possible made all the difference in the world in terms of our trust in CVS.

Called in at 8:40 pm on August 24 to fix an order made on my behalf that was delivered to me (because I'm sick) , the worker who answered the phone was super rude and asked "well what am I supposed to do deliver it for you? ". I told her "no ma'am , I just needed the order to be fixed and find if the driver who brought it was through Instacart so I could get it swapped out ". There was no need for her to get all defensive and give a customer an attitude who's peacefully looking to resolve the inconvenience. Hung up when I asked at what time they would close today .

Staff is always friendly and helpful, but when using the drive-through, it takes 5-10 minutes per vehicle/customer. I’ve never been to a pharmacy that takes so long to service each customer. Unfortunately, I will be taking my business elsewhere. - Adding to this review three weeks after originally posting: I went back one more time to give them a fair chance and see if anything had changed. It was just as bad if not worse. I cannot believe how long it takes them to service each car.

Everyone here looks like they hate their job! Starting from prescription drop off (she was a total bitch and just said can I help you with the biggest attitude) to pickup and the guy running the drive thru was a total asshole! He practically threw the prescription bags at us! And from reading these other reviews here, I'm pretty sure we're all talking about the same nut case! I'm not sure who's exactly in charge here but the person of whom they have a picture on the wall by pickup was extremely rude. She walked into the pharmacy area from purchasing items at cvs and just threw them on the counter looking totally pissed off! Going back to Rite Aid pharmacy! Get it together CVS and do something about your piece shit staff here!
