“I haven’t felt a warm vibe in every shop on Piedmont and vintage stores can be kind of snobby sometimes but I’m happy to say that that frigidaire environment has NOT been my experience at Sunshine Prophecy. The vibe is super warm and inviting; There is ALWAYS good music playing; The employees there are always very patient with any of my (often MANY haha) questions; — AND I’ve never felt pressure to buy anything if I wasn’t ready. — That is especially important to me bc in order to budget I purposely do LONG leads on items I’m interested in. I might stop in once or twice and ask questions/do price checks before I finally treat myself and they always treat me like a paid customer. Clothes, jewelry, purses are cute. LOVE their witchy candles, herbs, and TAROT CARDS. It seems like the owner of this store had more of a “creative calling ” then just a bottom line in starting this business.”

“Outstanding fair prices and a huge ever-turning selection. I’m so glad I learned about this place! Ryan and team are fun and helpful. I bought mattresses, chairs, couches, and even a piano! Always shop here first!”

“They used to have an architect firm here that barely attracted any flies inside, then this wonderful, eclectic cute antique shop took over. They invited the lady from Moss plants to sell their beautiful plants and the result is balanced gentle magic. Here you can find gifts for yourself or for a special occasion, or no reason at all. Walking in here was a nice fresh break for a Sunday, greeted graciously by Nan who let me wonder around the shop without policing me or being a typical pushy sales person, quiet the opposite. Her level of education and appreciation for art and antique recognized the good client in me and others who happened to walked inside, and that's a good sales person. In the meantime I had to share this with more folks. Perfect place to buy a nice, cozy, or an elegant last minute gift.”

“Excellent selection and customer service. We had a rough time planning for Christmas this year. I ordered a handful of items online and they wrapped everything free of charge and had it ready to go for us. They have a large selection of dress up toys, second hand clothing, and toys that encourage imaginative play.”

“I’ve always driven by but never stopped in since it was after hours. I got a chance to pop in today and I found so many treasures! The owner/buyer had a great eye for unusual and precious antiques. I picked up fantastic Christmas ornaments, a stunning smoky topaz ring, and vintage Japanese porcelain aquarium decor. The latter could be used in plant terrariums too. They kindly offered my dog a treat and made me feel welcome.”

“I often pop in here to get second hand clothes or shoes for my kids. Recently it was my son's 4th birthday and we were all home sick. He had been asking everyday for over a month if his birthday was tomorrow and if he could please have a spider stuffie. He was so sad to miss his birthday at school and I had had no time to buy him a present because we had back ti back illnesses for a month. I called Kelly's corner, they had one and asked if I could pay over the phone and have her toss it out the door to me so as not to infect anyone .she was so sweet and offered to drive the gift to my house (we lived nearby)after work. She even wrapped it in a gift bag and added a few trinkets. It made his day and meant so much to me. Thank you!”

“What a great place! Such a welcoming environment, filled to the brim with an absolutely impressive collection! You're sure to have a positive experience while looking around. And the owner, Heather, makes your experience even that much better.
I also really appreciate all the things she does for the community, like hosting events. Thank you for creating such a beautiful space! ?”

“Great second hand woman's clothing store! We went with the whole family and found so many great things for my wife. The kids were cheering on mom as she found so many great items. But in all seriousness, there were lots of really nice designer clothing and accessories for women. Great shop!”

“Always some fun new rotating items! Makes me feel like I’m at the able sisters shop from animal crossing with their displays changing. The staff/volunteers are friendly and make good conversation. Decently priced home goods too!”

“Since living around this area, I love going in there to take a look around their nice selection of vintage clothing and accessories. The downside is, I don't think they have updated their open hours.Went in there around 11 and they were still closed. I hope they update their business hours if they have changed! Would love be able to go when I know they will for sure be open”

“I've gotten a lot of great stuff from this flea market. There's tons of video games, collectibles, antiques, tools, junk and not to mention your every day convenience store things. There's also a great little section with produce. Takes about an hour to walk the whole thing if you keep a good pace but also take your time to look through some things. Some of the venders don't bend on prices but a lot of them will, so make sure to haggle a little! It's open every day of the week but I've found Tuesdays and Thursdays are the best days to go! Saturday and Sundays are fun but they tend to have a lot more newer msrp value things opposed to old used things. Definitely recommend this flea market for anyone in the bay area.”

“We were in the area and decided to stop by. It's not in the best of neighborhoods so I judged and thought it would not be good. First I walked in and everything is sorted by color to be honest I loved that. It was easy to find what you wanted. The closest were name brand and a lot of cute finds. There was also a lot of stuff with new tags. The prices were super reasonable. Definitely a hidden gem.”

“Me and my fiancé were searching for vintage looks for our wedding weekend, and Mercy was our first and only stop!! We found incredible vintage pieces at fair prices, even beyond what we imagined. The staff was beyond helpful, if you need a hype-woman while you try on clothes, Karen is your girl!! She was fantastic, and made it a special, memorable experience. Thank you Mercy!”

“**Please take care of the humans in the store and put the callers on hold. **
I looove crossroads and have been shopping here forever. Today I had a bit of a bad experience and I’d like to leave some feedback. I was waiting for about 5 minutes at the changing room, with another shopper behind me. The attendant was giving instructions on the phone with a person interested in selling. The conversation was taking a long time and the attendant kept her back to us. Very familiar with the procedure and tired of just standing there, I picked up the garment number 6 tag and started walking to an open fitting room. The attendant turned around and was not pleased with me. She glared at me, took my number away and then haughtily walked me to a room. ** Please take care of the humans IN the store and put the callers on hold. It’s a great retail practice. **”
