This hardware store saved me today! I was horseback riding in Anthony Chabot nearby, and lost the locking nut that holds the stirrup in place. Miraculously he had a replacement! Now the saddle is ready to go for tomorrow - and I bought a spare. :-D

If you live in deep east Oakland this should be your first stop for all hardware needs. The space isn't huge but the guy has everything you can think of. Support a local business. Guy who runs it is really knowledgeable and helpful.
