“I stayed at the Oakland Marriott city center for a conference I was attending. Check-in was very easy and efficient, the room was clean and ready when we arrived, everything was very convenient, the parking the restaurants on site, so there was no need to leave the facility because it had everything that we needed during our stay at the conference. There was a mini fridge in the room, which was perfect. It allowed me to be able to keep my leftovers, chilled and I was able to take them with me when I left on my last day. I would absolutely recommend staying here again.Rooms: The room was clean and ready upon our arrival. It had all the amenities that we needed a mini fridge, hair products, toiletries, dryer, lighted mirror everything that made our trip convenient.”

“Best Western Plus Bayside was such a pleasant surprise. The location is on the water with a nice walking path to take a stroll, the sister hotel has a bar with a very nice bar tender, the room is spacious with a deep tub and a balcony over looking the water. It was such a a nice stay for such a reasonable price. I'll definitely stay here again!”

“Loved this hotel. It was nice and quiet. Very clean too I will add. The receptionists were great and very friendly. The BART was 2 minutes down the street so highly accessible for travel. Easy to go to San Francisco using the BART. Everything else was walking distance and close by. Highly recommend!”

“Needed hotel close to the airport because of an early flight and did not want to fight traffic. Clean and comfortable with good hot shower. Very close to airport with complementary Lyft for hotel guests. That was very nice since many hotels no longer have airport shuttles. Reasonable incidental. Would definitely stay again!!!!!”

Great service, the manager was both nice and helpful always greeting us with a smile. Neighbourhood is a bit rough but with that you can also stay at a nice hotel for a nice price.”

“At the rate paid for the room was awesome. A glass walk-in shower with sliding doors, and a body mirror in the bathroom was awesome. Clean wrapped 6 ounce gargling cups or beverage cups. The bathroom was clean with clean towels, hand towels, and face towels. The bedding was comfortable, I could not get up. The television worked and the sockets in the wall to recharge electric appliances. Most of all, I like the studying desk. For under a hundred dollars a night, I consider it fare market value....”

“I was actually very impressed with this Motel. The rooms were immaculate, nice showers, bed was hecka comfortable, and the grounds were clean. Huge TV and a mini fridge. “Dont expect to much but if you are in a budget this would be considered. No problem with the location, it is surrounded by foodies restaurant. What i dont like here is that one (1) hour before the check out, they will knock at your door informing you about the check out time. Staffs are not good and not bad.”

Sitting by the fire pits made it a very relaxing eveningUpon arrival I was told there weren't anymore rooms that I reserved available. I got a free upgrade which worked out perfectly! 2bd 2ba with a separate living room.The rooms were nice, clean & very spacious. There was a fully stocked kitchen. The king size bedroom had an additional fridge.The staff was great! The evening mixer was an unexpected surprise with free food, beer & wine.The hot breakfast was great. Many options to choose from.I will stay again.”

“I made a reservation here after having an altercation at another hotel in the Alameda/Oakland area. It was closer to the event I was in the area for. The manager was very nice, as was his wife. He was even nice enough to show me the two rooms he had available. I did not ask for this. He just offered to let me choose which room I wanted.The rooms are a bit small. But, it was great for one person or even two. It's a bit dated but, was very clean and comfy. The refrigerator worked great as did the t.v. I had to go to the front to get new batteries for the remote. No problem. The gentleman at the front desk just handed them over. The bathroom was very big. The glass shower was big but, like all the hotels in this area had that nasty water conserving shower head. I do think the shower head needed to be cleaned because some of the nozzles seemed to be a bit blocked. The water was coming out sideways. But, I got good shower all 3 days I was there. The bed was comfy and the heater worked great.There's plenty of parking and the place was very quiet even though it's on a main street. I would definitely stay there again.”

“I read the reviews and was concerned on what I might find. My room was clean, no roaches, staff was friendly and it was quiet! My only complaint would be the 'grab and go' breakfast as it was only oatmeal in packages and coffee. I couldn't afford the other hotels 200+ price.The kitchen area had a microwave, full size fridge, two burner stove and a sink. The bed was comfortable.Target with a limited grocery area is a short walk from the hotel and another longer walk to a discount grocery.”

“Ratings are very poor but the price encouraged me to try it. The elevators and hallways are worn and need cleaning but the room is perfect and very clean. Large refrigerator, TV and microwave were a nice surprise. A great value with an airport shuttle every 30 minutes.”
