Such a great concept. I came in for a plant and realized that this was not your usual thrift store. I walked away with a great cactus that helped pay rent and an awesome treasure, a picnic basket that I got to pick out for free :)

This little store is a spot of sunshine. If you come in and peruse the curiosities and thrift items, you'll be rewarded. Plus there's art to gaze at and plants for sale on Sundays (and I think plants are sold any day). Great little thrift store and the lady who runs it is a good neighbor and community builder.
The Plant Sale Fundraiser is every 2nd Sunday of the month, 12-4. Free Oakland UP will only be open outside and only on Sundays for the Outdoor FREE Markets, 12-3. Everything is free! Take as much as you like! Records, books, art supplies, decor items, kitchen items, toys, games, plants, succulent cuttings... (There are plants for sale inside the shop, 1 customer at a time). (Pre-covid info) FREE SHOP: An eclectic mix of antique, vintage, slightly used and new, home decor, art supplies, art, housewares, kitchenware, records, books, jewelry, fabric, plants, tools, etc. Everything (mostly) is free! One free item per person per day and for a fair monetary donation to help pay the rent you may choose more. More treasures!!
