“OMG!! Chris and Brian are the BESTTTTT!! Brian is super knowledgable and generous with his materials and time and I'm convinced that he could fix a car blindfolded and/or just by smell (hands over the exhaust, smell for the sweetness!). Chris made so much time for me and despite his incredibly busy schedule, let me hang out in the garage, look over his shoulder, and ask him pesky little questions while he worked. As a 21 year-old woman, it's pretty typical for older mechanics to be dismissive or even rude to me, but Chris and Brian were super eager to show me stuff and were funny while they were at it (I got lots of good car fail stories now)! They even significantly reduced my bill as I'm a young person working two jobs and Chris specifically wouldn't HEAR of me paying more. Visiting Chris and Brian really lit up my whole week and gave me a fresh burst of optimism and energy to continue working on the car I love so much. They are the absolute best and I am so lucky to call them my mechanic + auto part source! I had to buy a case of oil and had no idea which kind, they helped me. I needed a headlight lamp, they helped me and offered to replace it. Today I popped in to get new wipers (yay rain) and not only did they help me get the ones I needed they installed them in like 30 seconds for me. “I've gone to Mario's shop twice now. One was pretty severe where the whole back bumper and quarter panel had to be replaced and the other time was some scratches and dents on the door. Both times my car was returned looking brand new without even noticing the damage. Not only that but they are very efficient and got my car in and out very quickly. “I don't even know where to begin. Randy is one of the nicest people and owns this "unique" body shop. He grew up in Fresno during the lowrider scene and has nothing but an appreciation for automobiles--especially American made; however, he does drive an import. I met Randy through my Father when I was 16 and got my first truck. I wanted to do some body mods and shave my tailgate handle, mold in a roll pan, etc. Randy is one of the few people in the North Bay who doesn't mind doing custom work. Many shops frown on custom work because of problems down the line. However, I believe a reputable body shop shouldn't be worried to stand behind their work--custom or not. I've probably done over $30,000 in custom body work with Randy and he's absolutely the best. Granted, he isn't the fastest body shop as its basically a one-man shop. If you're in a hurry to get your car back, this might not be the body shop for you. Randy is old-school and things will take longer, but his work is impeccable and worth the wait. Additionally, he really cares about your needs and strives for perfection in his work. I haven't seen or heard from Randy ever since I left Novato in 2004, but I'm sure he's still there and going strong, even if he looks frail and weak. Tell him Alex sent you!”

“G & C Auto Body did a great job repairing my car. They work as a team and were always courteous. My only issue was communication broke down regarding car completion on a Friday vs the following Monday. They created an expectation that a Friday end of day was to be expected. So, I made plans for the weekend. At 3 pm that day the suddenly admitted that completion would be Monday. I had to cancel my plans that weekend but was happy that Monday. The car looks almost new so overall I am a very satisfied customer.”

“I am completely satisfied with the service, quality of work and restoration of my Toyota Highlander to its original pristine condition following a collision which severely damaged the front end of my vehicle. Following my first visit to the company for damage assessment and order of required parts, I was called to bring my car in for repair.
