“Ramy’s Nursery is the BEST in the valley! As someone who does outdoor projects,it is to great to have a nursery that has an extensive range of plants, including a marvelous selection of drought-tolerant varieties. They grow most of their plants right on-site so they are better acclimated to the valley's climate. If they don't have a particular plant in stock, they gladly order it for us, providing expert guidance on which plants will thrive in the specific areas of my clients. They offer delivery which is always helpful. We are so grateful to have found such a fantastic local nursery in Reseda.”

“By far one of the best nurseries out there! Noticed a couple of months ago a lot of construction work being done on Jordan. Never saw any improvements, but it was almost as if it was a purposeful attempt to block people from getting in. Good that that seems to have been resolved since the interest is open or anyone to come on in and shop around for their favorite plants, pottery or garden decorations. As I've been told, " gnomes are the Gateway drug to finding your inner peace." This place is a sanctuary along with his locations at Sherman Oaks and Lake Forest. a great place to escape from the reality that we live in. I wouldn't mind working here. Definitely worth a trip to find your latest addition of color to bring out that pop with you.”

“Such a great local nursery. Their selection is vast and the owners are very knowledgeable and kind. My family and I have purchased several plants from here over the years and we keep coming back not only for our yard, but also for our pond and patio areas. The owners are always willing to help us navigate through the logistics of our little projects too which is so nice. Driving around the property on the golf cart is also always a lot of fun. :) We're lucky to have such a nice family owned business in our community.”

“Alex has an amazing variety of rare fruit trees that may not be found anywhere else. When you buy a fruit tree from him, you also are getting expert advice on how to prune, fertilize, and otherwise maximize fruit production. He is currently helping me to nurse my guava back to health after I made some mistakes in the first year of growing it. I am learning a lot in the process. I highly recommend Alex and his nursery.”

“I felt compelled to write an outstanding review of Boething Treeland and recognize the exceptional customer experience I received in dealing with this nursery. I called yesterday, in search of a tree to replace one that had gotten diseased in our back yard. We have a whole row of trees that are uniform and one in the middle died and left a gaping hole in our privacy layer shielding us from our neighbors home. This tree is very rare and hard to find (Dwarf Carolina Cherry Laurel (Prunus caroliniana 'Compacta'), especially this time of year, and in the "perfect size" and height. I called Boething and Paul answered the call. He was helpful and very attentive from the start. He immediately knew what I was looking for, and even explained to me that there are different "strains" of the Carolina Cherry Laurel...something no one ever told me. He clearly knows his trees! He asked me to send a photo and one close-up with the leaves. He immediately texted me back and said it was the "dwarf" version. He then sourced it on-site and immediately sent me photos of two healthy trees. The price was EXTREMELY low and very reasonable. The tree was gorgeous, and perfection! The only downfall for us is the fact that we need to pick-it-up b/c we are outside their delivery zone, which is understandable. We will need to drive to Woodland Hills from South County OC and renting a truck (a 6 hour round trip). This may affect our decision ultimately...but I did feel compelled to recognize the exceptional service, pricing, quality, and responsiveness I received from Boething and Paul. We are considering a crepe myrtle too, so I will be bookmarking Boething and def. call again!!”

“DIY still feels like a place where people care about helping you and keeping their store organized and neat. Most importantly, I've been able to call and get answers about stock before making the drive, which is very useful.”

“An amazing collection of thousands of succulents and cacti hidden away behind a small storefront off of Parthenia. I've visited a couple of times and enjoy wandering through the thousands of plants (including some very rare ones) behind the storefront. Parking is limited to a few spaces but you can park on the street. The staff is super helpful and they also sell a wide range of pots and gardening/plant books. I highly recommend it.”

“yes this place is a lot to look at, yes it’s a little disorganized but they have such great prices and the employees are actually humble about wanting to sell their product, I went to the moon place or whatever it’s called right down the road and they tried to tell me it was going to be $200 for a large Mexican feather plant looked at them and asked if they thought I was a Stupido gringa and had to respectfully walk away but this place on the other hand is absolutely beautiful and their plants look really healthy, and they were nothing but inviting and welcoming as soon as I got there”

“I am thoroughly impressed with the sales and phenomenal service at GreenCoast. Huge, and I mean HUGE selection of everything one needs for growing. Don't let the storefront fool you, this place is enormous! As well, the pricing was less than other Hydroponics stores, and for me, more convenient as it's on the way home from work. There is also a price match guarantee. To give an idea of pricing differential, the Happy Frog soil I use was $27 a bag at Green Thumb Nursery (WOW!!!), $16 at the hydroponics store I had normally gone to, and $14 at GreenCoast.GreenCoast, you now have a happy regular customer! :-)”

“The green is here along with luxurious candles, pottery and velvet couchery. When I heard that a new section of the garden was expanding upstairs and that they were growing wine now, my tendrils curled. The glassware, the pamplemousse Savon hand soap, the coffee table bookeries are delightful. Buy some plants drink some wine, laugh with friends in a Forrest of flora. Pop some bubbles upstairs and giggle in the garden.”

“Oct 2023The guy who runs the place inside the store is really friendly and helpful. He's an honest guy, making an honest living. You will find that the quality here far exceeds any of the stuff you'll find at a Home Depot is for instance, and in some cases even Lowe's.They deal mostly in ceramic, and clay pottery.I was trying to find some plastic or resin pieces that were durable, and the owner had suggested to try a few other places. He didn't have the inventory, but he was still very friendly in suggesting some other spots to try.I do wish they would carry some thick, resin or plastic pots that are 1/8 to 1/4 in thickness. I'm sure this would be my go-to spot if that were the case. For now, I'm stuck with the big corporate places. In general though, if you're looking for a piece that's going to stand out in your garden, something as a focal point, or conversational piece, I think you'll find that this place might have what you're looking for.”

“I was at my go to nursery today. I was looking for a few flats of Dymondia and a Photinia shrub. I’m very happy to say SAGO Nursery is still a fabulous place to buy plants and get help for all your gardening needs!”

“Our daughter just bought house in Tarzana and has Jimmy landscape the backyard. It is beautiful so we asked him to help us redo our backyard as well. He gave us his undivided attention for an hour, refused phone calls from others and made suggestions as well. We took his advice and couldn't be happier. Our backyard couldn't look better. Jimmy even put in a drip system and made an extra trip a few days later to make sure everything was set up well. He is a perfectionist. I highly recommend him”
