I was skeptical when I first saw my North Authentic Rx and only ordered a few items, but after adding the The Original Detox Hair Shampoo from O\\u0026M at Natalie's insistence, I became a true believer! Everything about my hair routine improved! I've added the Olaplex strengthening treatment and a scalp scrub to my routine since then and my hair has never been happier! Natalie's expert Rx for KICKASS HAIR is the real deal!

Had my first experience here recently with Natalie and I was incredibly impressed with her knowledge, skill, and the quality of the products used. The talent she has in color application is unmatched and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Before, my hair was lifeless, badly toned and thin. After, she removed of all red, gave me a lovely caramel balayage just like I asked, and a great cut that compliments my face and makes my hair look 5 x's thicker.

I went to this salon for the first time for a full color and cut. Taryn is amazing! She knew exactly what I was looking for and it came out great. I really like the product line they use and the environment is super cozy and fun! Definitely, will be going back to see Taryn.

Love this salon!! All the stylists are so talented and just amazing!! You feel right at home as soon as you walk in and everyone is so nice! I went to Megan to fix a botched balayage from a visit at a different salon and she did a fabulous job fixing it! I have never been more in love with my hair until now! I will definitely be coming back.

Natalie is amazing, I had (old school) extensions in she removed them for me and used a much more up to date and healthier method of extensions. If I need color or a cut I can go to anyone here. Natalie makes sure her staff is well trained and cares about the harmony of the salon. This little salon always takes great care of me and my children. I bring my autistic son for his haircuts and everyone is so accommodating and caring. The prices are competitive and when it comes to hair you defiantly get what you pay for (no Groupons here). Booking is always easy plus there are so many great hair products and cute accessories in the boutique area, if you are looking for a new salon look no further than north.

I have been looking for a new stylist for a year or so after moving here from Missouri, and as browsing Craigslist (first mistake) and found this salon. The ad was for their "Academy Pricing" which is apparently only available with one person who no longer works here. I got an email after my online request and was quoted a decent price for a trim and a toner, my hair was pretty yellow due to just letting the color fade and turn to whatever the heck was left underneath my last color. When I came in, the prices were totally different than what I was quoted and I was obviously annoyed. The "academy stylist" told me I should probably do some treatment on my hair before dying it again, which is fine, she said I'd really be throwing money away and suggested I treat it for a month and come back. I told her I had something coming up and I didn't care if it was just a semi permanent toner just to kill the yellow for a while. She eventually convinced me to just leave with product. She tried to be sweet and gave me a trim for free even though she clearly did not want to do anything for me. My hair was a bit of a mess as I had thrown some sea salt spray on it that morning assuming they'd just wash it out before the cut. That made my hair look much dryer than it actually is. The salon owner came over and gave me all kinds of dirty looks while running her fingers through my hair, pretty much said I must have been lying about the last time I had my hair colored. Then said "your hair is sooo damaged I wouldn't even touch it until you do some treatments". Then looked at me so condescendingly and said "I know you're on a budget anyway so let's just get some product". First of all not your business what my financial situation is, second I'm upset that the price I was quoted was much less than what you told me when I walked in so that's all the cash I brought with me. The stylist ended up making me feel comfortable enough to make an appointment for this week, a month later, for color. I'm got a call this afternoon canceling my appointment and being told that she was the only one who did academy pricing and she was no longer there. Instead of offering me something else or someone else, I was just flat canceled. I'm not loaded with cash seriously I would have and could have paid for services, feel like I got Pretty Woman'd here because I wanted to pay the price I was actually quoted and have my hair color fixed. I even tipped her because she gave me a free cut and she tried to give it back and said I probably needed to save the money. What?? Also, I've seen women with some trashed fried hair way worse than my split ends go into a salon and come out a few hours later with an incredible transformation. So frustrating.

I moved here from New York and have had my hIr done at many excellent salons. This is not one of them. The first time I left dissatisfied with my color and my cut was way too short. I gave them one more chance today. Natalie began by insulting my cut which was growing in from the butcher job I received there in the fall. She then proceeded to argue with me and further insult my cut and color. Rude, unprofessional and unknowledgeable. STEER CLEAR of this place.
