“Great place to take kids. Lots of hands on activities for kids, beautiful nature, variety of different areas in the center. I’ve never seen so much green in Newport Beach lol. A great place for a field trip as well. Would happily come again.”

“FUN PLACE ! The center, which opened in October 2000, provides a focal point for the public’s enjoyment of the Bay. Visitors learn about life in and around an estuary and why Upper Newport Bay is such an important estuary. The knowledge and understanding gained here will give people an even greater appreciation of the Bay when they take guided walking and water tours or explore the Bay on their own. THOSE ARE THE FACTS ! My wife and I were up here for the July 4th long weekend. We rented a couple of eBikes at the nearby Newport Beach Marriott Bayview soon after we checked in at 2 pm on Friday. We then proceeded to ride around the Upper Newport Bay Nature Preserve..about 11 miles. On the back stretch we stopped by here but it was after 4pm and the center was closed. We've been here before on last trip and it's pretty neat inside. WORTH CHECKING OUT !”

“We have been fortunate enough to enjoy the services of The National Cat Protcrtiln society for decades. Ever since I was little (I'm 57 now) we have been happy to have this place around. It's nice to know that there's a place for cats whose owners pass and there's no one to take the kitty.”
