“This place was so fun! Catnap provides so much cute and silly cats to hang with. And it's not a cafe , it's just a place where you chill with the kitties. The kittens are adorable and would love to come again. The workers are nice, might consider adopting a cat.”

“My mom contributed quite a few items to the museum 10 years ago including my b e l l y board with many old San onofre surfing pictures with the heart and plan a ukulele and of course toe headed brother and I and my mom dad was probably out surfing longboard. Mom's bored with 14 ft long Redwood Bolsa 75 lb got surf by the Duke! This was 1939 to 19 45 to 1959... practically grew up there in Mammoth Mountain boating surfing hunting. Mom and Dad met at San onofre Beach when they woke up and they're sleeping bags on the sand”

“So glad I found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try. They were very accommodating after we requested Jake to be our daughters' instructor and both Alex and her brother Jake were able to fit my girls into his schedule during the summer. Both of my girls were fearful of the water, to the point where they would scream when water gets sprayed on their faces during a bath, so I thought it would take them a while to get used to swimming. To my surprise, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw how they were able to jump into the pool on the first day of lesson, and even went underwater! I don't know what Jake did but it worked, and ever since then, they looked forward to swimming lessons every week. At the end of their 10th lesson, they were able to jump into the water, float, go under water, and even able to swim a couple of feet on their own. It's too bad Jump Start doesn't offer lessons year round, so we will wait until next summer to sign the girls up again. Also their prices are very reasonable compared to most places, and each lesson is 30 mins long, unlike most other places that only offer 20 mins. My girls have gone with almost all of the instructors there and they were all nice and friendly, they're great with kids so your kids are in good hands.”

“Nice, clean store. Well organized. Good prices & quality offerings. Unfortunately, they're only open 3 days/week (I thought it was only 2), but I guess the workers are volunteers, so maybe that's why??? Worth the trip if you can do a mid week visit, otherwise, too bad...”

“My wife has been going to the Alzheimer's Family Center 5 days a week for about a year now. I am so grateful for the excellent service and safety AFC provides. I am kept informed of any upcoming changes of the food menu and of events. Feel wonderful that I can leave her there for about 5 hours while I go and catch up on chores to do. Would highly recommend for anyone who is getting overwhelmed as a caretaker and / or needs help placing a loved one in a safe environment.”

“I knew this club was the right place for my son when first talking to the coaches. They really took interest personally. Not a cookie cutter approach. They helped my son make goals and reach them beyond my expectations. Now the club is like family. Top notch for kids and adults. Forever grateful.”

“It is what it is. Good walking area. Main Street is where most of the shops and restaurants are. Lots of shops for surf stuff, as you'd expect. Lots of pedestrians walking around but not overly crowded. Only saw one sketchy character. Main Street ends on the Pacific Coast Highway right across from the Pier. I'd skip the Pier but recommend Duke's at the start of the Pier.”
