We stumbled upon this store doing Mother's Day shopping and we've come back yet again because the experience was so good. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. The shop has really good fresh incense as well as a large number of essential oils. There's also a wide selection of men and women's clothing along with beanies, jewelry, and other Rasta merchandise. We will be back for sure!”

She assured me that I could go have lunch in the mall, and it would be ready afterwards, and it was. Also, they were patient and took good care of my 89 year-old father who needed extra attention. “Novelty store in The Oaks mall that has some cute gift items. Lots of Loungefly if you're into Disney gear. Also some Asian mech like Naruto, Sanrio and some mochi snacks by the register (reiterating *some*). Never had a problem with staff in the store, the kids (gah I feel old lol) just let me be and browse along. Cool store window shop or buy a knick-knack or a small token. My millenial self was so happy seeing the likes of Rugrats, Avatar the Airbender and Totoro. Yas I'm a proud nerd. (haaaiii)”

“I've visited this new store several times now, and it's clean, spacious and well-organized. The selection of boots is pretty amazing and about what you might expect from a store called: "Boot Barn." They also have a large inventory of both men and women's clothes, including jeans, shirts, jackets, belts, hats and a decent variety of work clothes. Despite the western theme, they also have work, hiking and casual boots, although they don't carry premier brands of hiking boots, like you'll find at REI. But for the casual hiker, they will definitely have what you need. One nice thing about the store is the central seating area, replete with a comfortable sofa and coffee table. It's nice for relatives and loved ones who go shopping with you, who probably don't want to tag along in the aisles. This store is dog friendly, so feel free to bring your best friend along too. However this store isn't perfect and it falls short in some ways. While there are some incredibly helpful, outgoing and courteous associates, such as Stacey and Sarah, many of the other associates appear to be disengaged, less-focused and even a little rude. I caught one middle manager scolding an employee in front of a customer, and another young female associate rolled her eyes behind a staff member's back. A lot of the staff are very young, and they may not have great people skills or maturity yet. Some good customer service training might be in-order for some of the younger employees. Also while temperature is often a subjective thing, this store is uncomfortably warm, during this Summer. Either the air conditioning isn't working properly or management has decided to save a few dollars at the expense of their customers. Walking around a big store while it's warm is no fun. Their selection of products is pretty good, but it's obvious that the store heavily promotes and stocks some brands, such as Wrangler over other brands, such as Levis. This is probably a corporate decision, which is out of their control, but it's nice for customers to easily see and shop for their own preferred brands. I can definitely recommend this Boot Barn location, and with a few simple improvements, it could easily earn 5 stars...”

“Can be hard to get help and they don't care a huge selection but this is our go to for some of the brands we like. They carry more than the WLV location and returns are usually smooth. They carry kids sizes, mens, women's, shoes, etc and literally are ALWAYS running a sale. I grew up on this brand which is notorious for carrying the best skate, surf and streetwear brands”

“I've shopped at 805 Work & Play, aka 805 Western for over ten years now at both her old location and the new store next to Tarantula Hill Brewery on T.O. Blvd. She carries the work boots I need for construction but also has the high end boots and hats I need for showing my performance horses. She doesn't carry any of those cheap Chinese knock offs that predominate in the big box boot stores. I recently took up cowboy single action shooting and she (Lety) was able to quickly get me all the vintage (1800's) pants, shirts, hats and boots from that era. It helped that she has dressed actors for Westerns, when it comes to authenticity. What kept me coming back, time and again is her no b...s... advise on my complete outfits. She is more than willing to say no to some of the things I've liked and she explains why it doesn't go with the look I'm trying for. When you walk in the store there is a sofa and two lounge chairs where local cowboys, cowgirls and vaqueros can sit and talk and that wonderful smell of leather.”

“I came here after an exhaustive search at Nordstroms and a horrendous experience at Macys for a decent suit. Robert was the most compassionate, patient and most well versed person in suits. The minute that I walked in, he immediately walked over and assisted me with selecting the right suit and pair of shoes. He listened to all of my requirements and was able to narrow down the best suit for my needs in just a few seconds. Their onsite tailor came out and took all my measurements and even had my suit ready before the week was over! I have a slightly overweight and stocky upper body type -- their tailor worked his magic and made all the right adjustments to my suit to ensure a comfortable and relaxing fit. If you're looking for a cheap one-time suit, this place isn't for you. Their clothes are all imported and are therefore much pricier than department store clothes, though you're paying for the quality and precision craftsmanship. I would rather invest in this amazing line of clothes than keep buying overpriced luxury brand clothing from department stores that lose their color after one wash and fit awkwardly. I highly recommend this clothing store to anyone looking to enhance their wardrobe and stick out amongst the crowd.”

“Today, December 6,2023 I received by mail, three blazers that your store sent out for free alterations. In November 2023, I purchased online, using the J.Crew credit card, a red Italian wool blazer, size 14, because they do not have this item in the Thousand Oaks store in any size. The sleeves were too long. Esteve measured and pinned the correct sleeve length, with my approval, and the blazer was sent to their Century City store for free alterations. In September 2021, I had also purchased online, two Italian wool blazers in navy and black, size 14. At that time, due to the pandemic, they would not shorten the sleeves. I had never worn the two garments, and the tags were still on. Esteve also measured the correct sleeve length, and made sure that the sleeves of both garments would be shortened. I greatly appreciate what Esteve and J.Crew did for me. Their customer service is outstanding. I am thrilled! Thank you so much..The largest size that the store has is size 12, while the average woman is a size 14. Also the store does not carry these Italian wool items. Your size 14 navy and black blazers run very small in the waist.Carole Chapman”

This is the go-to place for men's shirts if you are in your 20's and 30's because they have all sorts of sizing, even tailored fit if you are on the slender side. Of course you can buy online, but it's worth a trip to the H&M Oaks Mall store in person to be able to feel the quality of the fabrics.”
