“I have been banking with Star One Credit Union in the past several years and I am very happy with them. My mother and my son also opened accounts at Star One upon my recommendation. I feel Star One is way better than any of the other major banks we have banked with in the past - Wells Fargo, Chase, and Bank of America. Star One's savings rate is much higher than the major banks, and I don't need to worry about being hit with high fees. Plus they offer very friendly service at the branch with a personable touch that has been lost at the big banks. Recently the tellers at the De Anza branch helped my mother with an IRA account transfer to a brokerage firm. The contra firm demanded various documents (even though the information was included in the statement submitted), and was not being responsive to inquiries. Urmila and Charlton worked with Lina in the IRA department to fulfill the contra firm's requests and got the account trasferred successfully. My kudos to them for going above and beyond to help a customer.”

“I've been a member of SFCU for about 20 years. The Customer Support has always been above par. My most recent encounter was no different. My son and I were helped by 'Jenny' at the Palo Alto branch. She took the time to help us with our accounts, answer question, and explain to my son, in great detail, everything he needed to know about credit cards and his options for saving money. We never felt rushed, and she had clear answers for all of our questions. You can't ask for more than that in a banking experience. Note: I only give four stars because I have to drive an hour to visit the nearest branch. But I realize that's not their fault.”

I had Yolanda help me and she was fantastic, she was informative, personable and sooo kind. With all my questions she had answers +more. The customer service with all the staff was amazing and friendly. I am so happy I bank at Patelco and even happier that this location is close by. If I have any banking problems or questions I will gladly go back to this location for help. If you go to any Patelco location I hope you go to this one and i hope you get Yolanda so you have just as great of an experience as I did.”
