“So sad this place closed with the most amazing staff. Walgreens bought out the chain and shut it down . It's a shame Walgreens did not keep it open. Thank you for years of helping our community stay healthy and positive ! You will be greatly missed as a very important part of our community ! !”

“We were out of town when a family member became ill on a Monday after business hours. He was able to have a telemedicine visit with a doctor who sent a prescription to this pharmacy late in the evening. Within 30 minutes the pharmacy checked insurance coverage, filled it, and got approval for CoVid at-home tests the doctor requested he take before beginning the meds. The pharmacist was extremely helpful, kind, and efficient. I was impressed with the entire store as well—seemed very clean and well-stocked.”

“My husband and I got our Covid shots here! The pharmacist took us early and took us at the same time. Painless! The cashier at the pharmacy was patient and helpful! Five stars. New Covid vaccination cards were handed to us I requested.”

“Conveniently located in downtown Monterey, this is a good stop for us when we're on a Monterey trip and need to get some staple items, like water or toiletries. It's never that crowded here and we're able to easily find what we need. Con is that there are usually homeless people on the street right outside which can be a little off putting, especially when you have young children with you.”

“I haven't seen this store since my parents stopped here a few times when I was ten years old. They didn't like the high prices and shopped in the Santa Cruz CVS on the mall after that. Inflation has changed a lot of the price differences, but not all of them. Who would pay more than 15 dollars for a notebook? This is still one of the best CVS stores in the Monterey area and I think it was open 24 hours a year ago instead of the Lighthouse Ave. location. It's large and has more items in stock and no long lines or freaky characters like you might find afternoons at the South Salinas location. My line was only 2 or 3 customers.”

“Dear CVS great job having stuff I need. I got protien bars and I got gardedos. And I got sun screen. And they had so much more?. I would love to see more baby aquaphors next time. But I understand it's hard keeping them stocked because they are so popular.”

“Sure beats Walgreens, which is a horrific experience in Seaside. Nice to see stocked shelves and a responsive pharmacy experience. Just wish for a drive-thru experience--but still 5 stars!”

“The pharmacist who filled my prescription today was beyond nice, friendly and helpful. She was very considerate of my time as well. By far she is the most helpful and kind pharmacist I have ever encountered!”
