“I love San Ysidro pharmacy! They have the best service and are very knowledgeable about prescriptions. They also offer compounded prescriptions that are not available anywhere else.”
“I changed Rx insurance carriers just so I could stop using CVS and support Federal Drug; a wonderful local business. I can't tell you how happy I am to have made the switch. I now communicate with a knowledgeable person who takes a personal interest in my well-being. Everyone with whom I have had contact is there to help. Even thought it may cost me a little more to patronize Federal Drug, you get what you pay for and my research and my limited experience demonstrates that axiom to be very true here.”

1976 Cliff Dr, Santa Barbara“Overall the staff are very nice and courteous. They could definitely stock more items. The pharmacy person, not sure if she was a pharmacist or a tech, sounded so nice to all her customers and very helpful. Buy what threw me was when all her customers were gone, she was in her cell phone talking a little loud about some very disturbing incidents that happened with either her child or relative. It was unnecessary and I feel if a person needs to have that type of conversation, then maybe go away from the counter so customers don’t hear it. The language was not pleasant and I found myself so distracted by it. This is just a suggestion that I have. Other than that, she was very professional and nice. But hearing her whole conversation was very distracting.”
“The front desk staff, nurses, doctors, and security guard are amazing. My husband was running late to his appointment last Friday. The security guard was so accommodating in helping us get to the check-in counter. The front desk was helpful as well by making sure we would be seen, even if we we're running late. The nurses and doctors we're so pleasant and understanding and really took the time to listen and help with my husband's situation. We are certainly going to return in the future for all help and smiles we recieved during our stay.”

317 W Pueblo St, Santa Barbara“This review is specifically about Christina who has gone out of her way to help me with prescriptions that my insurance company would not cover. She found coupons for me and has been using them for every refill. She is so kind, patient and resourceful. She also has helped arrange for deliveries. She makes this pharmacy 5 star worthy.”

1835 Cliff Dr, Santa Barbara“This 5-Star review is primarily because of one guy in the pharmacy: the pharmacist Suraj.I know it's a smaller store and that some folks have had less than stellar experiences from time to time, but the good tales should be told too.Suraj has worked so exceptionally hard to keep refilling a life-saving prescription that is incredibly difficult to keep in stock. Supply is lower than demand nationwide, and I've never had so much trouble and stress filling a monthly prescription before. So much so, that in spite of my love for all the great pharmacy folks at the Mesa Rite Aid, I finally had to move a couple prescriptions over to Suraj at CVS. He seems to be the only guy who can fill them, even though there have been delays. In talking to both of the pharmacists at Rite Aid (the awesome Negar) and CVS (Suraj), I learned that the system at CVS allows Suraj to do something Negar has told me she cannot. It allows him to look at the supply chain and see what's in the system. At least that's how I understood it. Apparently Rite Aid is unable to do that so you're left just waiting and wondering if I high demand prescription will ever get filled. ??♂️Suraj is warm on the phone, really works hard to get these low-supply prescriptions in before I run out (I'm "lucky" enough to have 2 that have national supply issues), and phones to update me when necessary. I wish I could praise him to his boss, but have still yet to find a way to do so.Especially since COVID, the work that pharmacists have to do has got to be at least 2 or 3 times more difficult than it was before. I just appreciate how hard he tries to make one customer happy and properly supplied with what the doctor ordered. I'm sure I'm not the only one he does that with.Thank you, Suraj.I hope someone calls your boss's attention to this and that he gives you a bonus or a RAISE! ??”

100 W Carrillo St, Santa Barbara“I have had all my and our family's Rx's filled at Ralph's for many years. The pharmacists and staff always go the extra mile, answering questions, searching for discounts and the lowest price, orders are filled promptly, they are all friendly and knowledgeable. I can go on, but I will just add that I have witnessed some of the staff calling MD's on behalf of customers who do speak English and advocating on their behalf.”
“This has been my pharmacy for several years, and every time I call or go in, the folks at the pharmacy counter are helpful and pleasant. Having done quite a bit of customer service desk work myself, I know how challenging it can be. I imagine it's more difficult when dealing with customers who are in a bad mood because they're not feeling well themselves or because they're acting as caregivers, which can be so stressful, so kudos to the Carillo CVS pharmacy staff for handling it all so well.”

1109 State St, Santa Barbara“Someone I know needed a ride to get a few things from drugstore. That person specifically wanted to go to this specific CVS downtown Santa Barbara although other drugstores were closer. Once inside I saw why- all the staff treated him warmly, like he was family and they were professional in providing services and getting him the medical supplies he needed and getting him the discounts he had. I was very impressed!”
“I'm updating my review with the Pharmacy. I haven't gone for a long time, but did for my husband. I went because CVS Pharmacy on State St. had a 3 hrs wait (Live in Carpinteria) My last review was mostly about the personnel in the pharmacy. However, I wasn't fair to the pharmacist, it was her I give 4 stars the personnel in pharmacy I give 1 star. Husband waiting in car had to pick up his meds before going home. The pharmacist understood my situation, she was sympathetic of my situation, (lived to far to drop off and return). It was the pharmacist who came to the drop off window (after waiting 10min), helped me and I was on my way.”

336 N Milpas St, Santa Barbara“New management must have taken over as this place has turned around quite a bit. The cashiers are knowledgeable and friendly. The manager is helpful and the shelves are mostly stocked instead of being empty. Still quit a bit of vagrants harassing the staff and stealing but at least the items you come for are available”
“This is the best CVS I've ever been to and I've been to about 20 of them! They are very helpful here. Deborah and Michelle especially go out of their way to help you! :-)”

3939 State St, Santa Barbara“CVS pharmacy 5 stars store but at this particular location the pharmacy department, medication drop off or pick up extremely busy wait time 30 or more minutes any day or time, wonder if CVS company is aware of the condition at this particular location understaffed why keep on advertise on flu shot etc. while the pharmacy department is short of staff and is barely able to help the customer. The pharmacy technicians are knowledgeable and put a lot of effort into helping customers, obviously, not enough staff.”
“Best pharmacy in the area for sure. The pharmacist (Chris? Guessing it's him based on the name in other reviews) is amazing, super helpful. Sometimes there's a long-ish wait or you have to talk to multiple people to get the answer to your question, but everyone is very polite and helpful.”
