“Best carnicería around. Meat is high quality and tender. Not tough and chewy like you get from most grocery stores. They also carry Wagyu if you need a great steak for a special occasion. If you want your meat extra marinated, buy it the day before you’ll be cooking it and let it sit in the marinade over night.”

“I was amazed at how huge this market is. It is huge, roomy, and very clean. While visiting my observations were that the workers keep very busy working, cleaning, organizing, and much more. Help is not far away. I ordered a breakfast burrito and had the full package (onions, cilantro, red salsa, beans, rice, and chorizo,...). I also had a Sprite (suggested by my server a nice woman with glasses). I forgot her name but she was helpful, courteous, friendly and fast. I saw so very much I will be back!In response to the owner:Thank you! My review is honest, factual, and unbiased. When I give such a positive review it is earned. I have been to several Cardenas Markets and this one is the best! To be fair all the others are older and smaller. The employees are always good but this market was better.”

“3/2/24 My neighbor recommended this store & from the select few Yelp reviews, this is definitely the better location to shop. I love this place! There a huge selection of fresh produce & the prices are reasonable. There's a dept. that makes fresh tortillas. Additionally there's fresh guac & salsa, horchata, hot steaming tamales, a bakery, huge selection at their meat dept.etc Oh and get the FLAN--not too sweet, decadent. The only negative aspect was the self checkout. I thought I'd save some time doing it myself but I've had the worst luck! The machine kept referring back to "please wait for assistance" & when I asked the staff tending to the self check out what I was doing wrong-she didn't inform me. She had too many customers who needed her help. It was frustrating. These are the same machines that Sprout uses & I do not have issues with them. Next time, I will just go to the regular register/check out.”
