614 W Huntington Dr, MonroviaThis is a really great place to take your canine or feline to get vaccinated, a wellness checkup or microchipped. Something I think is really cool is how you can get many vaccines plus deworming in a bundle & it decreases the pricing versus if you were to get them individually. I have a long hair chihuahua girl that's mixed with papillon. Small breed dog. So as you can imagine I wasn't able to go with the dog shield pro. However they recommended the dog shield bundle to me; which I went with & will be paying for 3 more vaccines but individually sometime soon. Very friendly employees ! Everyone there appears to be happy which is great! My pooch now has majority of her vaccines plus has been dewormed and I am very happy I'm looking forward to her being FULLY vaccinated & then lastly, spayed

1540 S Myrtle Ave, MonroviaThe owner is half Argentinian and has all sorts of empanadas to pick from. I ended up getting their beef, spring roll, birria, spinach, chicken Alfredo, and apple pie empanadas. All the empanadas had a bready, slightly crisp, yummy fried flavored shell. Usually I don’t like beef empanadas cuz I think they’re spiced weird but this one was actually good, savory, and comforting. The spring roll one was eh. Large pieces of crunchy cabbage. Would’ve liked them to be shredded a bit finer. The birria one was filled with that yummy shredded beef that was a bit dry but the side of consume saved it. The spinach one sounds like it would be boring but BOY WAS IT NOT. Super flavorful and herby in the best way. The chicken Alfredo one was also really good and filled with those big chunks of savory chicken. Each one paired really well with their made in house chimmichuri which added a nice little bright herbyness to everything. Pro tip add some of the hot sauce with their chimmichur on an empanada and MNM. For dessert we had their apple pie empanada which had a cinnamon sugar coating that made it taste like a churro and it was filled with their tender, caramelized apples. Overall this place is pretty good.

He literally comes up to your table after he sees you finished eating and asks you to leave because they have to seat other parties. Asking people to leave their table after they spent probably over $100 and in our case usually more than $200 is awful. We literally had premium drinks that were not finished. And this was not a one time thing, he has done this to us a couple of times. So if you like to eat and chat for a while after, this is not the place to do it.

We ordered four or five times within the week when we were too exhausted to think about cooking. My parents are difficult to please, but they were impressed by the generous topping coverage and abundance of veg on the gourmet veggie pizza. Service was always friendly upon pickup, and I rated the atmosphere five stars b/c it's a no frills place that concentrates on making tasty pies for pickup and delivery. #priorities Our family grew up there in the '80s and '90s and had no idea Alitalia had existed, but I'm grateful we know now and relieved that my parents have an easy option for lunch/dinner. (The pesto pizza with chicken was also very tasty!)
