“Can't say enough great things about Ron, his family and his quality of work!We we pulling our 45' fifth wheel camper from Texas to California and 120 miles from our destination our transmission went out in Modesto, CA on a Sunday afternoon. We were lucky enough to have called Ron first who not only answered on a Sunday afternoon, but let us have the truck towed to his shop and Ron brought his personal truck to tow our camper to his shop and let us stay there for the night.Monday morning, he had the transmission our of the truck and torn down with full diagnostics by 9:00 am.Finding out we needed a full rebuild, Ron pulled our camper another 40 minutes away to get us setup at a local campsite.Ron expedited the rebuild finding all the non stock parts needed to rebuild my already custom transmission and I had full confidence in his work after meeting his team and listening to them discuss the build.When the truck was ready a few days later, Ron drove the truck to the campsite to pick me up saving me from having to Uber to the shop.Truck was perfect after the rebuild and we safely made it to our destination in California and all the way home (1800 miles) to Texas without any issues.Highly recommend Ron and his team for any work you may need.”

Kevin went above and beyond by returning to his shop after dinner, around 7:00pm, so we could drop off the truck before leaving out of town for work. “My car died on the way to work. I had a mechanic lined up to diagnose and fix the issue. That mechanic fell through and was not being very upfront. I called J & W Automotive and Rafael had me bring my car in the very next day (on a Saturday). Very upfront and did not give false possibilities of what could be wrong. We were thinking ECM issue as we had already replaced the starter and alternator due to them being burnt up. Rafael went straight into testing the ECM and confirmed that was the issue. Even though it took awhile to get the part I am very happy with the work that was done. Most mechanics try to sell unnecessary fixes which was not the case here. The first mechanic I had lined up told me I needed a new engine even though he had not even looked at the car yet. Highly recommend J & W Automotive.Service: Electrical repair”

“It's been a minute although I've had great luck with these guys. Infact had several transmissions rebuilt by them, sent several friends also. Years ago when I had my Acura transmission rebuilt I was so pleased I returned shortly later for my Dodge. I had also recommended these guys on Craigslist back in the day as at that time they were the only affordable place with a great warranty. Normally affordable and quality don't go together however these folks are amazing! Never did I have an issue since the rebuilds. Only visits were for maintenance. They were also quick, had the vehicles back with in a few days. Even after I looked over the work you couldn't even tell the transmissions had been removed as every was put back, secured and none of the bolts were stripped or rounded off. I knew the job was done tho as I checked in occasionally as it's hard to find a trust worthy shop. Mario and his Father make a great team.”
