“Here we are again. For some reason my boyfriend always has tire issues. We ended up stopping by here after lunch on Saturday. This location seems small. There was already a few people a head of us but the wait took about 1hr 30 min. The guy helping was super friendly and helped us check-in right away. We had them check the tires to make sure we didn't run over a nail. Turns out the tires just needed more air because of the change of weather.”

“My car died on the way to work. I had a mechanic lined up to diagnose and fix the issue. That mechanic fell through and was not being very upfront. I called J & W Automotive and Rafael had me bring my car in the very next day (on a Saturday). Very upfront and did not give false possibilities of what could be wrong. We were thinking ECM issue as we had already replaced the starter and alternator due to them being burnt up. Rafael went straight into testing the ECM and confirmed that was the issue. Even though it took awhile to get the part I am very happy with the work that was done. Most mechanics try to sell unnecessary fixes which was not the case here. The first mechanic I had lined up told me I needed a new engine even though he had not even looked at the car yet. Highly recommend J & W Automotive.Service: Electrical repair”

“I was exhausted finding parts all day with worn brakes, I planned to to it myself but when I showed up they offered to do it at a very good price right then. I wanted to learn and they let me watch, they got the wheel locks off my rear tires and replaced the brake pads and rotors. They were kind and quick. They even ran a diagnostic for me because my engine light was on. I will definitely come here again next time I have tire issues. Highly recommend :) I added a photo of how bad my brake pads were ?? After taking a relative to a very important dr appointment my car tire picked up a construction nail and was making a terrible noise. We couldn't get the trunk open to get the lugnut key. The young mechanic was able to take out the nail and plug up the hole. I'm sure had he not been able to fix the tire I would have woke up to a very flat tire. Thank you El Giro tires and rims.”

“I usually use McCoy over on McHenry, so this was my first time at this location. I called ahead and asked about the wait (on a weekend) and they had no one in line but were closing in an hour. I had a flat tire that needed a patch only. I drove in and staff was basically waiting for me. Within about 2 min the tire was off my car and they were rolling it away! 15 min later I was back on my way. Good value, good service, and pro staff. Pretty much everything you could ask for!”
