The Humane Society of Stanislaus County (HSSC) is a growing 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue, welfare, and education organization primarily servicing at-risk animals in Stanislaus County and is solely run by VOLUNTEERS. We do not have a facility to house our animals, they all live in a foster home environment giving them a better chance for adoption. We are NOT associated with ANY national organizations. Our mission is COMPANION animals in Stanislaus County. We are NOT partnered with any OTHER non-profit, government, or join powers associations.
