“Kennedy came highly recommended by my Next Door community, and I'm grateful I took their advice. Ray, a very pleasant and helpful individual, assisted me. Following a car accident at Lake Tahoe during the Covid pandemic, I incurred damage to the front fender area, including broken struts. Initially, I addressed the mechanical issues to ensure safe driving but couldn't afford the approximately $3,000 estimate for the body repairs.Recently, my mechanic informed me that the car wasn't safe for highway driving due to the fender damage compromising the front tire. Faced with the decision of investing more money in body repairs or scrapping the car, I stopped by Kennedy, and Ray said it would cost around $3,000 to restore the body to pristine condition. However, Ray proposed an alternative solution--he could fix the fender to make it safe for driving. Utilizing a special tool, he successfully pulled out the fender, eliminating any scraping.The experience was marked by excellent customer service, honesty, and, most importantly, a sense of relief. I am running a non-profit that I founded, so money is tight and driving a pristine, cool-looking car is far less important than my safety. Now, if only finding my new Medicare health plan were as straightforward, I'd be even happier. LOL.”

“I lightly scuffed the right side of my front bumper on a 2021 BMW Z4M40i. I worked a long time to have this car as a fun car and it just killed me to scuff the paint. A good friend at Peter Pan BMW in San Mateo said "John, you need to go see Luis Leiva at Cologne". Nice cars like mine are a specialty at Cologne and Luis did a beautiful job that was done in a record time! It was a fabulous price and my Arctic Silver matches perfectly. Thanks, Luis!”
“I cannot say enough good things about this shop. My beloved 240D got a massive dent in the hood from a falling pinecone -- as the car is an all original time capsule, I was incredibly nervous getting work done. However I need not have worried at all -- not only was the work incredibly high quality, but the care these guys took of my car was next level (e.g., always parking it indoors, taking care of all the tiny road rash etc). For as long as I live in the Bay Area, this is where I'm going for any auto work ever.Thanks for rescuing my car guys!”

“Eric did a great job repairing and painting our truck. He arrived on time for our appointment and was able to come directly to our house for the repair, with our truck still parked in the garage. He was professional and checked in with my husband several times to make sure he was happy with the work being performed. We are pleasantly surprised with the quality of the repairs. After the work was completed, Eric cleaned up after himself and left our garage looking as clean as he arrived. He was very friendly while he completed the repair. The quote was accurate and very fair for the work that was performed. “Summit has been a terrific find for our little Honda Civic and other family cars over the years. Chris has an exterior detail service that makes my mother's car look like new! Once we needed a mirror and when they could not get the part, he custom painted one available to match with quick turn around. I agree with all reviews that his office staff is knowledgeable about insurance but has suggestions to share when working with companies too . Estimates are quick, often while you wait and they will call if they find anything beyond the quoted repair or scope of service, ordering parts, etc. I feel confident about using Summit and appreciate the excellent communication provided throughout the repair process.”

“I will be very honest with this review and I hope it helps. My insurance company recommended Golden West Collision Center after an accident with my car. I was able to get in the same day of the accident to have my car looked over and get an estimate for the cost to fix it. At my initial visit the staff was friendly and helpful, all went smooth. A few days later I got the update that my car would take approximately 2 weeks to fix. Now this is where is gets a little disappointing. When I went to pick up the car, I could clearly see the bumper was not aligned properly.There was a gap on the side where the repair was to be done. I pointed this out to Andres, who noticed as well. I left my car so that they could fix this, thinking I would get it back the next day. This was not the case. A few days later I went back and there was still a gap and then I noticed the paint in the area that was fixed was not correct as it had more of a yellow tint in it vs my white plus there was over spray on the hood and doors. Again they kept the car to fix these two issues. The third time I went back the gap was still not fixed. At this point after several attempts at fixing my car, to be honest I was done. That is when the owner, Joe McKenna, contacted me wanting to make things right. He was able to get the insurance to authorize the actual manufacturers bumper for my car and make things right. After 4 weeks, I was finally able to pick up my car and it looks amazing. Joe and the whole team at Golden West Collision Center were great and I am thankful for all the hard work that team put into getting my car back to normal. It was definitely a longer process than I anticipated and yes there were bumps in the road but they did come through in the end. For this I am very appreciative.”
“Had such a wonderful experience with Supreme Auto Body. Brought my 2021 4Runner in for rust treatment, and paint touch up on the front end. Henry, did a great job with communication and scheduling. They did an amazing and quick job on my vehicle. They also ended up touching up my rear bumper that had some chips in the paint! Our experience was so wonderful, we actually brought in another one of our vehicles here for a paint touch up on some minor scratches on the roof and bumper. Very pleased with the work done, and customer service. I highly recommend this place!”

“Highly recommend. I called yesterday to make an appointment for an estimate to fix the bashed rear bumper on my daughter's 2006 Toyota Solara. Miriam said to drop by in 30 minutes. At first glance, Nick said the right way to fix it was to send the bumper out for refurbishing and then he'd paint it on return. Then at my request he circled the car and looked at the variety of other cosmetic "boo boos" and said to fix everything "right" it'd cost more than the car was worth, so for the bumper he recommended pulling out the crease and touching up for $50 instead. Despite the shop being very busy, his crew did it on the spot while I waited and the result looks great. Fantastic service and value all around. Thank you Nick and Miriam for reminding us there's still people with integrity out there who truly put customers first.”

“Snapped one of the screws for my rear license plate clean off, threaded part still in the car. Took it to the dealer first, they couldn't fix it and referred me here. Car West took a look, was able to drill & remove the remaining piece and replace the screws. Got lucky, apparently, could have been more involved. Car West didn't even charge me for this because it was so quick!”
