“Traveling from Tucson AZ. to Bakersfield, CA. I broke down in Indio. My truck had problems but wouldn't register on diagnostics test. Alvarez Auto by experience said it had to be fuel pump. I was taking a chance on paying for its repair and still breaking down with same problem. They were spot on!!! They were prompt and very honest! I had no problems the rest of my way! “I have to give a shout out to Pancho and Santiago, the owners of this shop. Pancho met me and the tow truck driver at the shop Saturday evening around 5:30 PM, LONG after the shop had closed, to receive my vehicle which was a tremendous blessing.The Tow Truck driver recommended this shop saying how many times they have helped other people after hours who became stranded.My transmission had blown out and by Monday morning, they ran a diagnostic, confirmed the problem and provided me with options. By mid week, my vehicle was repaired and it has been driving great for the past 4 days.I highly recommend Pancho and Santiago and their shop and am so appreciative of their willingness to go above and beyond on the Saturday I brought the vehicle in.Definitely recommend them.”

“I was wrecked. My F-150 was not going into gear, and when it did, it wouldn't come out of first gear. I had to wait a week but it was well worth it. A transmission shop could have told me, you need a rebuilt transmission, but not Desert Transmission. They said it needed a part and it would be $1000.00. It came in at $800.00 I was shocked. I thought it was going to be $4000-$5000. These guys are incredible! I give them 10 Stars!!!! Sean M.”

“Went in to have a squeal of my belt looked and all it needed was to be tightened since the belt was still in good condition. Next trims I hear a squeal I will prolly need a new belt.”
